We stayed in the Palace Suite for one night. The room was great, very Tudor castle-like. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner didn't keep up with the heat outside. The common areas downstairs include a kitchen with limited access and a beautiful living and dining area. It's a short walk to town and parking is easy. It would be a great place for a small get together or family gathering. Our hostess had set out coffee and pastries for in the morning. We loved this place.

Maribeth was a great host. Awesome breakfast. Very much enjoyed the free wine tasting & fellowship in the evening. Looking forward to returning with our friends.

The room was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean, and exceptionally friendly service. Will definitely stay again!

The place was a very big house with amenities you would find if you traveled to stay with your parents for the weekend. The site manager was such a friendly individual that it felt normal to have conversations with and treat like part of the family. I will definaty recommend this place to friends and family and I also plan on reserving another weekend in the future.

The Bavarian River House is 2 blocks from downtown Leavenworth with beautiful views of the river and wildlife. The interior is charming with high ceilings, great bedding and fireplaces. It felt like being in a mini castle! If you are in town on a thursday, definitely do the wine tasting. We had no idea of all the fabulous wines from the area. Love love this place -- can't wait to come back!

We have stayed here each December since they first opened. This is a beautiful house right on the river. Quiet and relatively secluded. Easy walk to Front Street. Doesn't get any better than this! So far they haven't been able to open the cafe, but I'm sure it would be excellent. The continental style breakfast is nicely presented.

Immediately upon our arrival we were greeted with a warm smile from Maribeth (and from Tricky Woo too). The houe is warm and inviting with very comfortable rooms (I could have slept all day, but there was a lot to see). Waking up to a house filled with the smell of coffee and bacon made it feel like it was Christmas morning! I can't wait until my next visit when we can hopefully stay longer.

We had great time the rooms were nice and clean and had nice view of the orchards. The hosted was the best and her little dog Tricky too. Great food and great little touches with name tags on each table. Highly recommend.
