I have stayed at all the B&B's on the island and this one is the best!!!! Best owners, best ammenities, best everything!!!! So romantic!!!! My best friend had her wedding there this weekend and everything was so perfect!! The owners were incredibly sweet and so accommodating. I felt like I was in a fairy land by all the flowers, arbors, walkways and hidden spaces. This place is a gem, not to mention the best breakfast ever.. She even delivered it to our private space. I love them and love their place! We will be back for sure!!!!!!! Thanks for making the wedding weekend special!

I can't say enough about our experience at Annabelle's. The location, the view, the rooms, and the morning's breakfast...all better than we could have asked for. Most importantly, however, the warmth, friendliness, and help offered so freely by Karen and Bob gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy our wedding. They truly felt like family, on a day when that was so appreciated.

After a family cruise to Alaska, my 16 year old son and I wanted to stay in the Seattle area to explore and go birding. I was looking for an experience that would make us feel at home. Our stay at Annabelle's could not have been more perfect! Innkeepers Karen and Bob were warm, wonderful hosts, helping us organize our time to get the most out of our stay in the area. I have stayed at many B&Bs, but no one can rival the breakfast Karen prepares and leaves just outside your cottage. Homemade danish, cheese soufflet, rosemary quiche, and fresh berry crisp were among our favorites. The cottage itself is lovely and tasteful, surrounded by beautiful gardens (check it out on the web site!). We spent quiet evenings looking out over the Sound from the porch and watching beautiful sunsets. Anderson Island is charming! The kayak we borrowed was a big hit with my son Sam -- and even me -- as we paddled around the shore of Anderson Island with harbor seals so close we could almost touch them. Sam loved the fishing from shore, too! Sand dollars are everywhere, and beautiful birds migrate to the island from the Nisqually Nature Reserve just across the Sound. This is a B&B that would be a great choice either for a couple's weekend away or for a situation like ours. It was a great value to boot! I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone.

Annabelle's was the perfect reprieve from a hectic city life and the stress of daily routines. Quiet beaches, unparalleled food, and over the top hospitality. A gem!

One of the friendliest, warm, and generous B&B we have ever stayed at. Not to mention that the breakfast will not leave you hungry!

This inn embodies what a B&B should be. The accommodations and the breakfast were world class. The owner, Karen, is a model for hospitality and generosity. She has an uncanny ability to take care of every detail. Our highest recommendation goes out to this tiny piece of heaven. We will come back!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Annabelle's over the weekend and we are going back as soon as we absolutely can! Karen and Bob are very gracious hosts, entertaining us with glass bead making, stories about the island and its colorful residents, giving us both detailed reviews and contact information for all of the local activities, and just being downright lovely! The pictures on their site don't do the place justice - the view during the sunset is absolutely sublime. The guest house "Annabelle" is so cute and cozy you won't want to leave. Honestly - my wife and I had tons of plans for things we wanted to do and had actually worried about "having enough to do." Believe me when I say this: that's not a problem! Once there, you'll be amazed at the homemade dishes/pottery (yes, Karen is a very talented potter), the outrageously fantastic breakfasts she serves on the pottery (she wakes up each morning at 5:30am to make breakfast from scratch), the vineyard that they planted (Bob is a treasure trove of grape knowledge), and the enormous patio of granite and marble that they installed themselves. So whether you're running down to the beach to sun bathe, watching the sunset from the balcony, sharing a glass of wine on the patio, or joining the gracious hosts in their myriad of enjoyable hobbies, you're sure to love your stay - and not want to leave! Don't take my word for it; there's a guest book in the living room full of past guests who echo my sentiments for the past decade! I can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Annabelle’s. It was peaceful, secluded, quiet and offered an amazing view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was short and we found sun-warmed blackberries to snack on along the way. The beach itself was deserted—even though it was a beautiful August weekend. We biked around the small island and found some great hiking trails. Bob and Karen are warmly welcoming, informative about the island and very friendly. The loft was clean, comfortable and complete in its amenities. The hot breakfast that Karen made was incredible and we appreciated that it was waiting at the base of the stairs to the loft in the morning. We came home feeling refreshed, energized and grateful for our wonderful weekend. We’ll definitely go back and highly recommend the place to our friends.

This is not really a BED and Breakfast, but a LOFT and Breakfast!! From the moment you walk in, it is an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are gorgeous - filled with comfy furniture and beautiful art. And then you go out on the balcony..... You couldn't ask for a more beautiful view. We sat out on the balcony every evening with a glass of wine! The Breakfast - more accurately the Feast - was AMAZING!! All homemade goodies - quiche, scones, raspberry crisp just to name a few. You definatly DO NOT need to eat lunch after that! There is a kitchenette stocked with pots & pans and plates so you can enjoy dining in if the mood strikes. Karen and Bob are great people. They leave you alone, but are quite approachable and very enjoyable to chat with. They are also quite artistic. Karen is the pastry chef and makes the plates for breakfast service. Bob makes glass beads. He offered to show us how, but unfortunately we couldn't take him up on it. We highly recommend this establishment and will be going back again in the future!!
