Boxwood Inn

This was our 2nd visit to the Boxwood Inn and I can honestly say the experience was just as pleasant if not better! I only say better because we knew what to expect and was delighted that nothing in terms of hospitality and service had changed. In fact, it was better! My husband and I were looking for a quiet evening in to catch up on much needed rest and alone time. We got both. We called ahead the day before and asked that a homemade Italian meal be prepared for us by their in-house chef who just happens to be the Innkeeper's son. He prepared a meal for us our first visit and we could barely wait to taste his next one. It was delicious. Better than anything I have ever had in a restaurant. It's obvious that he has pride in his cooking as well he should. He is very talented. You can even go for just a meal without staying. But, I would recommend you do both. It somehow completes the experience when you are able to walk down the stairs from your own room, be seated next to a warm fireplace and served a meal fit for the God! Do yourself a favor and have a night or two away at a place where comfort and hospitality are what Ms, Kathy and Mr. Derek strive for and succeed on every level!

This is a very nice Inn, Barbara and Bob are simply the best. The food is outstanding and her culinary skills and talents did not go unnoticed. The Inn and the grounds are to die for, and the price is right. You will not be disappointed if you stay here I promise.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times and each time it is always such a delight!!! The food is outstanding, wonderful hospitality and the rooms beautiful. We always recommend this place to friends. And they love it too. Their couples friday night package is the best deal on the East Coast! Enjoy! We did!

Barbara was an amazing hostess at a beautiful inn! We took advantage of her teacher's discount to spend a couple of nights and were treated like royality. The outstanding breakfasts of pancakes with strawberries, bananas and ice cream and monte cristo were delicious! It is a little off the main drag, but that is part of the charm. Don't miss this one!

I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone or everyone. The food was to die for and the southern hospitality was the best. My husband and I felt like we were home.

While on Buisness trip stayed at the Boxwood Inn, the food was delicious...the lemonaide was the best ever. The Innkeeper was fabulous she went above and beyond the call of duty. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.

It was a wonderful stay close to home, yet it felt like we were miles away. It was truly and excellent place that made us feel extra special. It was a perfect romantic getaway that we needed after my husband came home from Iraq.
