Buckley Hall was a lovely surprise! Comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing are a few ways to describe our two night stay. Beth was a great hostess friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and the conversations with other guests most enjoyable. The house is beautiful and conveniently located. We enjoyed a walk at the beach, bird watching, antiquing, and some great restaurants recommended by Beth. We had a wonderful visit and highly recommended the Inn! Carol from Manlius, NY

We could not have been more fortunate or happy with our choice of the Buckley Hall Inn for a stay of 5 days in Virginia. We were warmly greeted, shown to a beautifully furnished and impeccably clean room and bath. Breakfasts were exceptional -- fresh, hot, delicious and varied. We received excellent recommendations for local points and places to dine. We highly recommend it, and hope to return someday ourselves. Suzanne and Jerry

This was our first time at a B&B I would stay there again everything was just wonderful including the room,meals and the comfort of being where you feel at home. Beth and Gerald are really good southern people. We just loved being there. Jim and Betty Naugle from Deerfield Ohio

My husband and I stayed at Buckley Hall Inn in November 2011 as we were visiting Mathews for my 50th high school reunion. It also was our anniversay and staying at the inn was a special treat. The Inn is decorated beautifully and has such a cozy atmosphere. We stayed in the Mojack Room, which we loved. Two wing chairs in the room for relaxing and reading. The bed was most comfortable and we slept very soundly. Bathroom was in the room and accommodated us just fine. The Innkeeper does a wonderful job of thinking of your every need. Fresh cookies and coffee on arrival was a pleasant surprise! A full breakfast was served and delicious. There was a freshly baked apple cake that we loved. I always love returning to Mathews where I grew up, and our stay at Buckley Hall Inn made it a special occasion. We will certainly stay at the inn again!

First trip to Mathews, and first time at a B&B. Beth and Gerald are so kind and down-to-earth. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The house is lovely and the location is convenient. Everything was very nice and well taken care of. Beth is a wonderful cook, and she provided delicious homemade treats each day (as well as providing coffee, tea, water and sodas) and breakfast was fabulous. We will definitely be returning!! Il nostro indirizzo è 11293 Buckley Hall Rd. Da Washington, DC, azionamento s. su 95 a Fredericksburg, va. Prendete l'uscita Massopponax a sud di 17 Rt. Viaggiare est 1 1/2 ore su Rt 17. Poi girate a sinistra su 198 Rt (anche denominato Buckley Hall Rd, nella Contea di Mathews, VA) siamo su Buckley Hall Rd (route 198) Da Richmond, prendere 64East. Quindi prendere l'uscita di West Point, che è anche a est di Rt # 33. Rt 33 si trasforma in 198 dopo si attraversa Rt 17. Ricordo, nella Contea di Mathews Rt 198 è denominato Buckley Hall Road. Dalla spiaggia di VA. prendere Rt 17 nord ovest 64. Prendete Rt 17 a nord fino ad arrivare a Gloucester, prendere Rt 14 est fino a 198 Rt, svoltare a destra su 198 ci sono 1 1/2 miglia a sinistra
