  • The Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast, Main House plus Carriage House (in back ground) countains two suites plus a meeting and event center.
    Bathroom for the Emma Watts Room. The tub is an antique lovers tub (longer and deeper than normal with the faucet in the middle so no one gets a faucet in the back. Perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.
    Emma Watts Bedroom in the main house of the Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast.
    The Mary Watts Bedroom at The Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast features a great reading nook/window seat and a queen sized sleigh bed.
    The R. T. Watts bedroom features a select comfort king bed with private (step down) bathroom with antique tub (with shower enclosure). One of our most popular rooms!
    Stephen Watts Room is full of antiques and features a full size antique bed and a great window seat. When booking this room with the Mary Watts Room there is a 25% discount on this room. Ideal for parents bring a student to college.
    The Hayloft Suite is in our circa 1910 carriage house and has a california king bed plus an antique full bed and a private bath that has an antique claw-foot tub AND separate shower.
    The Stablemaster's Suite is in our carriage house and above what used to be the 4 stalled stabled area. It has a california king bed plus a day bed and a private bath with an antique claw-foot tub AND separate shower. The wooden walls and ceiling are original.
    Parlor in the Carriage House is for the guests in the Hayloft Suite and Stablemaster's Suite. The coffee table pictued above is the old grain box from the stables.
    Kitchenette in the Carriage House is for the guest staying in the Hayloft Suite and Stablemaster's suite. A fun room decorated to remind you of years gone by.
    Enjoy our legendary breakfast each morning. Pictured above is our pumpkin waffel with apples. Your mother was right, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we will make it very special for you!
    When staying at the Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast you will enjoy our legandary breakfast in our dining room each morning.
    Our guest parlor has a large flat screen TV, an extensive CD collection plus board games. In the late 1800's this room would have been the ladies parlor.
    Relax on our huge wrap around porch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee, refreshing iced tea or lemonade or a glass of wine. This is the perfect spot to relax and read a book or just reflect.
    Our back yard patio/fish pond is a great place to relax or read a book. If you really want to be relaxed, book a massage or body treatment in our on-site massage and body works center.

    Questo è il posto dove stare per celebrare, riconnetterlo, rilassarsi e godere. La casa di watt è stato recentemente restaurata al suo antico splendore dai locandieri dal 2003 al 2007. Dopo la guerra civile RT Watts, proprietario di un negozio di hardware costruito la sua casa di ciò che è ora lo storico quartiere noto come Daniels Hill. Oggi, gli ospiti possono godere della stessa vasche da bagno, un paio di stanza da bagno stesso affonda, molti apparecchi a luce originale, mantels, modanature e molto di più che sono stati installati quando la casa è stata costruita per RT e la sua famiglia. Molto poco è stato cambiato in questa casa a causa della natura della sua costruzione, vale a dire, entrambe le pareti interne ed esterne sono tre corsi di mattoni spesse.     Great Valentine's getaway

    We saw a package on line and booked it and it was the best Valentines treat I have ever had. The massage melted all the tension I had from a high stress job. The rooms were comfortable and for the first time in months I got a great night's sleep. The food was fantastic. Mike made chocolate waffles and the were the best. This would be a great place to visit and just chill out and relax. There were lots of things to do but we pretty much just went there to relax. They don't take small children which was a big plus for us.

    This is the great place to stay! Close to everything, great food, great rooms, great hosts and a great city. I would check this place out if you are traveling to Lynchburg.

Si prega di notare che il letto è un letto doppio con un piede. Se si è in alto, questo non sarebbe una buona scelta per voi.

Nel salotto dell'ospite con tv piatto da zanzariere, comodi posti a sedere e acess per l'angolo cottura rendono la suite ideale per una famiglia o amici che viaggiano insieme. C'è un bagno privato con un artiglio piedi vasca e doccia separata. Questo è dove è stato memorizzato fieno e cereali per i cavalli. L'armadio antico è uscito di casa principale e probabilmente è stato costruito nel tardo 1800.     Perfect weekend get-away in Lynchburg, VA, staying at the beautiful Carriage House Inn Bed & Breakfast. The innkeepers were so welcoming and the rooms were comfortable and had nice amenities.     We loved the location of the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast. A morning stroll to Point of Honor was lovely and we could ride our bikes right down the street and connect to miles of awesome bike paths. We are foodies who don't have time to cook as much as we like so the delicious breakfasts were enjoyable. Thanks Kathy and Mike for the hospitality and the chance to wind down on the beautiful veranda...can't wait to come back for a family reunion!

    I recently spent four days and three nights at The Carriage House. Kathy and Mike could not be more accomodating, and their place is just gorgeous. My room was spacious, beatifully decorated, had shades that blackened the room and the most comfortable bed I've every slept in. I would have slept in every day, but reluctantly got up to enjoy their indescribabily and creative breakfast served every day at 9 in the beautiful dining room. I will definitely be coming back over the years that my daughter is at Randolph College, and plan to have her graduation party there, as well. Loved my stay!!

    The Carriage House is a gem with great character and historical appeal. The house is being meticulously restored to its original splendor - with high ceilings, restored woodwork and furniture period pieces to match. And if that isn't enough, the proprietors, Kathy and Mike are the perfect hosts, focused on making your B&B experience relaxing and rewarding. We stayed two days and our two breakfasts were truly outstanding - Kathy and Mike have the culinary experience down to an art form. Lynchburg is a perfect location for any Civil War buff; and the two restaurants we tried were very, very good. This B&B is well worth the trip!
