    Il Hockman Manor House si trova sul North Fork del fiume Shenandoah, con viste della George Washington National Forest, di là. Questa bella casa all'italiana fu costruita nel 1868 dal Dr. Christian Hockman sulle rive del fiume vicino "città poco amichevole" di Edimburgo. I giardini e le 2 acri di boschi attrarre cervi, volpi, conigli e molti tipi di volatili da cortile.     my private getaway

    I stayed in the Edinburg Gap room. I loved the bed! It was so comfortable!!! Some of the best sleep I have had in a long time! The room was clean and the sheets crisp! The views were beautiful and Pat and Charlie are friendly and welcoming! The breakfast's were amazing!! I surely didn't leave hungry! I can't wait to take another vacation and go back to the Hackman Manor house Thank you so much for everything!!! I was able to find myself and get back to normal with the peace and quiet of the mountains.

    Delicious food, beautiful view, kind and helpful couple, comfortable, very welcoming to my kids and I, and we would be very glad to go there again! Crisp, clean sheets, cozy, and in a beautiful town.

    Hidden Gem

    Staying at the historic Hockman House was a real treat for my family. Pat and Charlie are wonderful, hospitable people, and the house is a character in itself! We loved the Edinburg Gap Room....even though the bathroom is down the hall, it is private, and there's a secret passageway to the top of the house with more than a 180-degree view. It was so fun to sneak up there in the morning to see the landscape. The view to the mountains behind the house was incredible, and this was in the middle of winter without snow! I'm excited to stay there again in another season. The breakfasts were also the best I've had in a B&B...I'm still thinking of that french toast...Overall, a fantastic and memorable stay for a very reasonable price!!

    Excellent visit

    The Shenandoah Room of Hockman Manor was spacious, comfortable and had a beautiful view. Pat and Charlie were wonderful hosts, and provided a tasty and filling breakfast. Edingburg and Woodstock had great dining options for lunch and dinner, and there was plenty do and see in the area. The entire experience was incredibly restful. We will certainly return.

    Beautifully decorated in toile bianco e blu. Il letto a baldacchino bella ha viste delle montagne e del camino.     Edinburg Gap

    Decorato in largo bianco con accenti colorati. Romantico in ferro battuto letto a baldacchino con billowing draperies. Bella vista sul fiume Shenandoah e le montagne con il gap di Edimburgo mozzafiato. Rosa e blu amore sede completa la stanza. Acquerelli originali decorano le pareti. Bagno in corridoio e ha una scala segreta al terzo piano torre. TV e VCR in camera.

    I stayed in the Edinburg Gap room. I loved the bed! It was so comfortable!!! Some of the best sleep I have had in a long time! The room was clean and the sheets crisp!     Hidden Gem

    Pat is very friendly and more then willing to help you in any way. The Shenandoah suite is huge! And the views of its private porch-nice! Quiet area even with a main road in front. And a plus-they let you stay just one night! Would definitely consider going back. And breakfast-yum!

    Great Visit

    I booked a trip through the Shenandoah Valley for my girlfriend's birthday to visit wineries. We had a great experience at the Hockman Manor House. The owner's very hospitable, the room was comfortable and the food was excellent. My personal favorite was the balcony off the second floor - a great way to start your morning.

    Comfortable and pleasant place to stay

    Pat was extremely warm and inviting. She was knowledge about activities in the area. Pat provided us with winery recommendations and other outdoor activities. Once I met Pat she instantly made us feel at home in her home. I wanted someplace quiet and comfortable for the weekend and that was exactly what we received. Thank you Pat for your generous hospitality.
