    Situato in un edificio completamente ristrutturato nel cuore di Venezia, vicino a Rialto e dei luoghi più importanti sigthseeing, B & B Sandra vi offre una camera doppia e un attico in una bella atmosfera autentica di una casa famiglia abitato.

    A real pearl in Venice

    We come regularely to Venice, our favourite city in the World. After we had a good experince first time with a B&B in Sicily we searched the internet for a change of our accomodation since we were quite unhappy especially with the breakfast of the little hotel we used the years before. So we found B&B Sandra and stayed there for a week. After coming up the stairs to the 3rd floor (don´t worry they help you with the luggage if you need) we can say we found a real pearl! Sandra and her husband Leonardo are very nice persons and let you feel welcome in a warm atmosphere and they speak fluently English. The rooms are perfectly clean, the room-maid is making a great job. The views are very nice, especially from the room with the rest place on the roof. From the breakfast-place inside their big living room you even have a direct view along a side canal to the palace of Ca´Pesaro at the Gran Canal. Speaking about breakfast, this was just far beyond all our expectations. We found all we desired: fresh made orange juice and an artful decorated fruitplate, cereals, selection of best quality italian cheese, raw and cooked ham, eggs (made as you like them), fresh bread, a selection of joghurts and marmalades and honey. Sandra is a fantastic cook and provides additionally on top every day something fresh (and always different) out of the oven. She takes care of vegetarians as well. For us (one vegetarian, one not) it was like breakfast in heaven. At this place you can completely forget the typically minimalistic Italian breakfast. For us it´s very clear that we´ll never change this place. P.S.: For cat lovers there is also worth to mention, that the two cats are really cute and totally quiet. For non-cat-affeliated people it is maybe important to know that they are very discreet (they do not jump on you like a dog). Gattolona from Germany

    Charmed in Venice

    I would not hesitate to recommend our lovely accomodations in Venice. Our charming hosts, Alessandra and Leonardo welcomed us into their home and did everything to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Our attic room had private access to a rooftop terrace with a wide view of the city; our room was newly rennovated with a modern bathroom and a bedroom / sitting area that was warmly decorated and very cozy. Our breakfasts were sumptuous with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses each morning, along with fresh baking made by Alessandra herself. The house was a bit of a hike from the train station but well worth the walk as it's located in a quiet residential section of Venice that gives you a peek behind the scenes of the tourist haven. We would undoubtedly stay at BandB Sandra if we are ever in Venice again.
