    Meno di un isolato di distanza dal centro commerciale centro storico, The Inn at 400 West alto è stato progettato per appello ad una clientela che gode pasti gastronomici, vini pregiati, alta cultura e un po' di shopping.     Beautiful & perfect B&B

    We visited from England in May 2013 and stayed for 2 nights at the outstanding Inn at 400 West High. We have never put a review on Trip Advisor before (we travel a lot) but felt compelled to do so as this is truly a special little place. Carolyn the owner was a charming and genuinely lovely host. As we are both vegetarians she made sure we had a fantastic breakfast of fruit, granola & yoghurt followed by a lovely spinach & cheese breakfast casserole & waffles on the second day all cooked fresh. The living room and garden area was enchanting; everywhere you looked there was something unique and interesting to take in. The bedroom itself (Macintyre room) was perfect, huge king bed (super king in UK), rain shower, free Wi-Fi (you don't get this at the big chains!) and you could help yourself to bottled water & juice from the kitchen fridge. This room had an outdoor terrace and was possibly the nicest room we have ever had. On Saturday Carolyn offered us a glass of wine which we drank in the garden area which was a nice touch and gave us the opportunity to chat with our host. We were upset to have to leave this perfect B&B; We could have stayed there forever. If you are thinking of a visit to Charlottesville you should stop here.

    Home away from home

    Room was large and comfortable, and very clean. Whole house has a welcoming feel to it. Breakfast area is dozy, and breakfast was amazing every day. Near the Downtown Mall, great food and shopping is within walking distance. Balcony was lovely, and the owners were amazingly friendly and helpful. We will be staying again!!

    Fantastic Inn

    My husband and I have stayed at this inn two times so far. It is a special inn that exudes charm in every nook and cranny. The rooms are beautiful, and breakfasts delicious! Carolyn, the owner, is warm and welcoming!! The inn is located within walking distance to the downtown mall and all the great shops and restaurants. Couldn't be better!!

    Perfect Getaway

    We stayed in the McIntire Room. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. The homemade cookies were amazing along with tea, soft drinks and water were available all the time. The decor is perfect and Carolyn is an excellent cook and hostess! It's in walking distance to the downtown mall.

    I live in Richmond and my parents were visiting from out of town so I wanted to take them to Charlottesville for a night. I found the Inn at 400 West High just by searching the internet. The place was charming and comfortable, we had our own private access to outside where our car was parked and the location is within 2 blocks walking distance of the downtown mall. Carolyn was so sweet and it is apparent that she enjoys what she does. I'm so glad that I found this place instead of staying in one of the nearby chain hotels. It made our experience in Charlottesville so much better.

    Couldn't have asked for more!

    The Inn at 400 West High could not have been more perfect! I stayed two nights in the Ridge Apartment for my wedding weekend and it was everything I could have hoped for. The apartment has a full kitchen, and lots of space, which came in handy. Breakfast both days was phenomenal. The Inn is decorated beautifully and was one of the best "home away from home" experiences I've had. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking to get away for some R&R!
