    La storica Haus Reiff al 306 Market Street è un appena restaurato bed and breakfast in ex j. Reiff Hotel e Saloon, intorno al 1871.     We were left to fend for ourselves

    This was a huge disappointment. We were told to notify them of our arrival time and someone would meet us at the B&B. We made 4 phone calls (providing an hour's notice) to arrange check in with no return call. We finally drove around town, and when we returned, there was someone to check us in. We were the only guests that night, and were left to fend for ourselves (apparently, the owners have several local businesses where they needed to be, so no one was onsite or easily avail for problems). Here's our (long) list of issues: Inadequate heat, peeling paint/crumbling plaster in the bedroom & bathroom, we were provided 1 wash cloth for 2 people, no onsite breakfast (we were given certificates to a restaurant several blocks away), the coffee provided was only Decaf (appeared to be leftover K-cups), Poor check in process, WiFi code not available (verbally given at check-in, but not left for future use), few outlets and in inconvenient places (blow dryer/curling iron cord not long enough to use and see in mirror at same time), poor lighting, fireplace in room didn't work, remote for TV didn't work, activity brochure provided was from 2011 (2 yrs old), We were told the owner was tending bar at another location on the night we checked in, so we knew no one was avail to resolve issues listed above. We did speak to him the next day, and he refunded our 2nd night's stay. This was not at all the B&B environment we're accustomed to, where the owner/house manager is on site to assist with local info and to provide on site breakfast.
