    Miss Olivia's Bed and Breakfast is a lovely Italianate Victorian home located in the heart of Gainesville’s historic district. A stay in this beautiful inn returns one to a century ago when cattle roamed and cotton barons displayed their wealth through the building of elaborate homes. The interior of the home provides an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. Relax with a book on the wrap-around porch or take a leisurely stroll through the lavish gardens. the grounds include a butterfly and hummingbird garden, moonlight garden, Shakespeare garden, and children’s garden. The pool area is surrounded by vibrant Texas native plants which provide an explosion of color for six months of the year. No matter if a swim is more to your liking or a quiet walk through the Victorian neighborhood, come to Miss Olivia’s and experience a stay of another century.

    Our Wedding and Honeymoon at Miss Olivia's and Shady Lady

    We were married at Miss Olivia's in 2008. We also had our wedding catered there by Donna. It was absolutely beautiful from the decor to the scrumptious food, including the delicious bride and groom cake. Every detail was attended to, and I would highly recommend it to any bride and groom looking for an intimate and romantic atmosphere. We stayed at Shady Lady B&B in the Madam room. It was tastefully and beautifully decorated for the time period. We absolutely loved it and are planning another romantic stay there for our anniversary. Nelly and Barry Shanahan
