  • "A Stay in Comfort" located on High Street in the heart of historic Comfort, Texas has 3 vintage units built by early German immigrants.
    The Karger House is nestled in the back of the property. The house has 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds, 1 1/2 bath, & full kitchen. Come and enjoy the privacy and tranquility.
    The Lindemann House is on High Street. The house has a large living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds, 2 full baths, 1 with claw foot tub, & full kitchen. Sit on the front porch and watch the world go by in Comfort.
    The Bungalow is a cozy one room cabin situated between the 2 houses. It has a queen size bed, full bath with shower.

    A Stay in Comfort Guesthouses are located in the historic district, just a short stroll to downtown. Our accommodations are private, vintage homes, circa 1920. The homes have been restored and furnished to provide ultimate comfort during your stay. Come stay and explore our charming, historic town of Comfort. We have fine eateries, antique shops, specialty shops, wineries and an eighteen hole championship golf course. Our Guesthouses have flat-screen TVs with Dish Network in every bedroom. The Guesthouses also provide WiFi.

    We stayed at the Karger House at "A Stay in Comfort" and had a wonderful time. The beds were so comfortable and the location was great. We just strolled downtown and saw all the sites. The house is in the back of the property and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the middle of the quaint little town of Comfort.
