4,6 su 5A True Historic Inn Worth a Visit
novembre 13, 2011
We stayed at the Brickhouse Inn during a recent business trip to Nacogdoches. The Inn is wonderfully restored and appointed. Enough updating for modern comfort but the atmosphere is mostly historic. The Inn keepers, David and Anne are the best hosts we have had in a long time. They are Nacogdoches natives or have spent most of their lives in Texas' Oldest Town and know so much about their city. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay but call early to make your reservations.

We stayed two nights with friends recently (2 rooms). Both were large and had private baths. David & Anne are totally meant to be in the B&B business. They are friendly, outgoing, and live on the premises. Breakfasts were exceptional both mornings, and Anne even accommodated my special diet requests. We had a wonderful weekend, and made new friends in the process. Thank you so much, David & Anne

We spent last Sunday night at the Brickhouse Inn. The house is so charming and full of history. If you like antiques, you'll love this place! David and Anne are warm, friendly and interesting hosts. We had a great time visiting with them. Breakfast was delicious; Canadian ham quiche, grits (made in a different way-Southwest style), almond bread and fruit. If we are in that neck of the woods again, we will definitely stay at the Brickhouse. The Jarvis'

my husband and i are from waxahachie and love the feel of hometowns like nacogdoches. the brickhouse inn was wonderful. our breakfast of orange waffles and wonderful abundance of beautiful freash fruit was great. the whole house smelled so good and inviting. our host and hostess, ann and david were so fun to talk to. they have done a wonderful job filling the house with beautiful things. we stayed in the queen room and loved the idea of stepping across the hall to our own area with stocked frig. and a large bathroom with all the things we could ever need. we will stay there again in the queen room, if available.

From the gardens to the immaculate rooms, we truly felt welcomed at the Brickhouse inn. Attention to detail was well thought into and we truly felt at home. We will be back

We spent a weekend at the Brickhouse Inn while in Nacgodoches for a wedding. David and Anne Norton, the innkeepers, were most gracious and helpful to us. We spent some time with them recounting different travel experiences, sharing a cordial, and discussing books. The breakfasts were delicious and worthy of a picture. We felt that we among friends rather than just occupying a room.
5 out of 5Absolute Perfection!

First I would like to say that the review titled "Gettysburg Experience" does not go with this bed and breakfast, it is for another B&B with a similar name! Anyways, this bed and breakfast is absolutely wonderful! Anne and David were so very kind, hospitable, and just a rare gem! My husband and I stayed in the King Room for our anniversary, and I believe for future anniversaries we will come back to stay in the other rooms! They are all beautiful. The King Room bed was so comfortable, the chocolates on our pillows were wonderful, the food is beyond amazing, and we got special gift for our anniversary! This is the perfect place to stay for an adult of any age! We are in our twenties but this would be wonderful all the way up to your nineties...we loved the conversation and homey feel, plus it is decorated with a historic feel, so you feel like you are king and queen of a gorgeous piece of history! I would highly recommend to everyone! Hope to be back soon!
