This B&B was a pleasant surprize for the small town of Bowie, Texas. We had no idea it would such a nice one. The hostess, Janet McMurray, was a delight to talk to and she was so well versed on the area that she aided us considerably in our quest for info. The breakfast meal was the best to date and we enjoyed this trip a lot. We highly recommend the gazebo B&B and hope to visit again soon

My husband and I stayed here to "getaway" for our anniversary. We had a lovely, relaxing time. The breakfasts were amazing! The room we stayed in, Susan's Room, was beautiful...the only comment would be that it may be time to replace the mattress.

We're so glad that you enjoyed your anniversary getaway, but I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the bed. You're the only ones out of hundreds of guests who didn't feel that they had "slept on a cloud"! Could it be that you are the "princess and the pea?"

If you're seeking a Victorian Southern B&B, then staying at the Gazebo B&B will make you feel you've entered the South. Wonderful hosts!

Thank you for your kind comments. We have loved traveling in the South, and have tried to emulate the homes in Natchez, Savannah, or Charleston. Most of our furniture is American Empire (1800-1840) pre-Civil War or Victorian (1840-1880). Enjoyed our overnight stay. Janet and Clyde are are so friendly ~ like long time friends. Janet's breakfasts are wonderful. True southern hospitality!
