    Fantastic place to stay!

    My boyfriend and I stayed at Si Si Claro for 4 nights in February and it was pretty perfect for us! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, had space to hang some clothes, and had a mirror. We had reservations about having to share a bathroom but it was never a problem even though there were other people staying in the apartment at the time. The bathroom was lovely and clean and there was always hot water available. The extra toilet (separate from the bathroom) was a bonus. We decided to take the breakfast option during our stay and it was lovely, the table was set beautifully and the food was exactly what we needed (croissants, breads, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, juice). The location of the apartment is amazing, right next to Urgell metro station which can take you to the Las Ramblas for 2euro. But you could also easily walk there in 20-30mins. The apartment is in the centre of Barcelona but far enough away from the main streets and attractions that isn't noisy. Best of all were Melanie and Luis! They are so friendly and helpful! We were given a list of recommended restaurants and bars (Babia and the wine bar at the Santa Maria del Mar are a must!), which included maps, and they were always more than happy to answer any questions we had about Barcelona and make suggestions. We felt incredibly welcome and at ease in Si Si Claro, as if we were staying in our own apartment. Our only very minor complaint is that our towels were not washed during our visit (mon-fri) but I am positive that if we had remembered to ask Mel & Luis before they went to work in the morning that they would have happily done so. In fact they may not have been washed because we were so late getting ready in the mornings! Overall we absolutely recommend Si Si Claro and will definitely stay here again if we get the chance to return to Barcelona.
