"Starkey House wins West Coast Approval"

"Cathy, the owner appeared in the driveway to greet us with a warm smile and helping hand. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and she made it very special. The food is catered to meet individual needs. We enjoyed delicious home made carrot juice, oatmeal made to order, fresh eggs made into a delicious omelet and a peach french toast to die for. We had so much fun touring the area with Cathy's knowledge of the Finger Lakes that we stayed an extra day. The other guests at the Inn became fast friends and we will be corresponding with them regularly we hope once we get settled back in at home. The only reason we didn't give Starkey House a five in cleanliness is because Cathy is still working on fixing the place up. It was easily a 4.5. The value could also be a 5 star, but since we didn't take the time to cost out other B & Bs or hotels, we felt it would be dishonest. One certainly gets their money's worth at Starkey. In our one month on the east coast where we usually were in a different city every two days, Starkey was the best by far and we highly recommend this B & B to other travelers. So much to see and enjoy! We have already told family and friends on the West Coast about this great find. Thanks to Cathy at Starkey House! Willy and Lynda Dostal, Beaumont, California"
