    A warm welcome awaits you at Milton Tower from George and Editha. This family run hotel is pleasantly situated and commands a magnificent view of the Firth of Clyde and is within easy walking distance of the town centre and ferry terminus on the traffic-free promenade. Dunoon itself caters for everyone whether for long stays or just for our popular short breaks. For the adventurous guests it's an ideal for touring the Cowal Peninsula the Highlands and surrounding areas. Walking golfing bowling fishing cycling and ferry cruising are also available locally. There's also the Castle House Museum which houses interesting relics and history of the town. For those interested to see concerts and plays the Queen's Hall and Burgh Hall provides them most weekends. On the other hand you can just relax and unwind in our comfortable lounge or in our well laid out garden both over looking the Clyde. We have an excellent reputation for friendliness hospitality a relaxing homely atmosphere and above all good home cooking food (including vegetarian) with a varied menu. Personal attention is given at all times to make sure you'll enjoy your stay with us. The hotel has a residential licence central heating throughout and a large car park. En-suite bedrooms with tea and coffee maker colour television radio alarm clock and hair dryer ironing facilities. Free internet access.

From Glasgow take the train to Gourock from Central station for the ferry or if by bus CityConnect from Buccanan Street station operates every 2 hours to Dunoon.;
