    The Walterhouses are very friendly people, answering questions, making suggestions. Our stay in the cotton room was comfortable and relaxing. And the price was right too.

    We enjoyed our stay at Planation Oaks Inn very much. Steve & Phyllis were very helpful giving us information about the area as well as Charleston. They gave us tips for where to have dinner, and they were always delicious referrals. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated the WIFI connection because this was a working vacation. Breakfasts were delicious and we liked eating on the porch. The setting is beautiful. This was a great way to start the day.

    Beautiful country location, but close to everything!

    We enjoyed our room and the grounds. The breakfast was plain. We stay almost exclusively at B&B's when we travel and this breakfaast was below average. Phyllis and Steve are lovely hosts, though. We loved the stay and play package...we would not have gone to the Charleston Museum if we had not had the tickets with the package...It was fabulous! A real highlight.

    We enjoyed our brief stay and were comfortable, it was quiet for sleeping. The outside could use more lighting by the sign/driveway it was tricky to find it in the dark.

    Steve and Phyllis run a very nice B&B outside of Charleston, SC in Mt. Pleasant. It is close enough to downtown and the surrounding areas where you aren't in the car all day. The rooms are nice and quaint, the setting is gorgeous, the house is beautiful and wonderfully kept, the breakfasts are delicious and the hosts our very gracious and helpful. They let you come and go as you please and are very accommodating. By far the best B&B I've stayed at in a very long time!

    Clean and Quiet Getaway

    Steve and Phyllis are great hosts - the breakfasts are excellent! Our room was clean and quaint, with great views of the marsh, live oaks, and magnolia trees. The only drawback is the driveway being off a busy road: one has to maneuver quickly to get in and out! But we would definitely stay there again!

    A Wonderful Stay

    The Plantation Oaks was excellent. My fiancee and I stayed for a long weekend. The rooms were clean and Phyllis and Steve were charming, friendly, and helpful without being overbearing. The breakfast was really fantastic, even for a B&B. I would highly recommend the Plantation Oaks to anyone visiting Charleston.

    Home away from home

    This was by far our best stay ANYWHERE. So peaceful and cozy. And the service is so wonderful. Shelly really took care of us and breakfast every morning was delicious. We will be returning!
