    Il Wayside è un delizioso stile georgiano "Summer Cottage" si trova tra i famosi Newport dimore su Bellevue Ave nel cuore della storica Newport.Be nostro ospite e godetevi il comfort e lo splendore dell'età dorata di Newport.. .in modo caldo e accogliente. Iniziare la giornata con una ricca prima colazione continentale, passare la giornata touring incantevoli attrazioni della città. Si tratta di una breve passeggiata a passeggiare lungo la storica Cliffwalk sicuro sopra il surf fracassando. Tornare a godersi una nuotata nella piscina riscaldata in terra o rilassarsi con un buon libro in un posto tranquillo giardino. Centro da pranzo e la notte sono a pochi isolati di distanza nella zona porto. Finalmente tornare a rilassarsi e scivolare fuori a dormire in una delle nostre camere spaziose, attraente, ognuna con proprio bagno privato.

    Great place, great value!

    Great way to enjoy the "mansion experience!" Park and walk everywhere. Room was very comfortable, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast with homemade muffins and fruit salad, along with cereals. Beautiful garden and inviting pool. It is a great value for the price!

    Best location to visit the mansions on Bellevue Avenue!

    What a beautiful setting! Within short walking distance of the Mansions of the Gilded Age (right across the street from The Elms!), cliff walk, shopping, restaurants and the Tennis Hall of Fame. The rooms were elegant with plenty of room and very comfortable beds. The posts are very friendly and more than willing to recommend those "out of the way" places where the food is excellent but not so pricey. Very romantic and exciting setting. Can't wait to return!

    The Wayside is one of the very few B & B's in Newport that welcomes children. I stayed here with my 11 year old granddaughter in August of 2009. And a stay in a real mansion is a treat for an adult, let alone a child! We had a fabulous visit sleeping in what she calls the "princess room". The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our continental breakfast with added cereal and fresh fruit salad. She especially enjoyed sitting at the “Bird and Breakfast” table by the window. On the hot afternoons it was a blessing to have the sparkling pool for a quick dip. It was also convenient to have the community refrigerator to stash our snacks. While the building itself is a little tired, it has the charm that only a genuine architectural antique can offer. The location in the midst of the mansion district with the trolley stop nearby can’t be beat. This year we will return bringing along her 10 year brother for his “vacation with Grammy”. I know he will love it too. There is so much to do in Newport and the Wayside is a true "home base".
