Venerdì primo Wine Tasting sci Pacchetti B & B Tour Weekend di alloggi sab-dom 05:00 1-Libazioni Lounge Il piccolo villaggio vittoriano di Jim Thorpe, PA è un paradiso paesaggistico incastonato tra tre monti a nord-est della Pennsylvania. Un'oasi di storia perfettamente conservato, l'architettura del Villaggio è puramente vittoriana. Arroccato in cima Packer Hill, Harry Packer Mansion siede come una sentinella che domina la città. Imponente facciata della villa avrebbe potuto essere tratto da un romanzo gotico, questo è solo adatta per la Mansion utilizzato come modello per la casa dei fantasmi Disney World! L'interno è però tutt'altro che inquietante. Quindici piedi soffitti, camini in marmo e specchi dorati dei saloni riflettono l'eleganza di epoca vittoriana. Gli alloggi ospite nel palazzo e la Casa Carriage adiacenti sono arredate con mobili d'epoca, tessuti pregiati e opere d'arte scelti con cura.     I didn't want to leave!

    I went on a 2 night & 3 day get-away w/my hubby for our 3 year anniversary. We went from Sun-Tues. We did not go for the murder mystery weekend, but it was still such a beautiful place to visit. Pat & Bob were very nice & accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, and the energy in the home was most welcoming. I wish we could've stayed longer. I have already recommended The Harry Packer Mansion to my friends, family & customers!! Looking forward to going back for a wine tasting and/or murder mystery weekend!

    The accomdations were top rate. The mansion has been restored to its former glory and immaculate. The staff is great, made our stay a pleasurable experience. I would recommend this location to anyone. We will definately be returning in the future. The food alone is worth the trip.

    We stayed at the Mansion recently for two nights. The house is itself is beautiful, and we would recommend staying in the Mansion itself (rather than the Carriage house) if possible. The inn keepers give the guests plenty of breathing space, and you could comfortably relax on the airy veranda and enjoy a nice selection of beverages from the Libations Lounge. The room was very nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable. The house is very solid and thick, so rooms were well insulated and very private. The breakfasts were all very good, consisting of eggs, fruit, juice, and something else like waffles or pancakes. It was done nicely where you serve yourself and eat on the veranda or the dining room. We would definitely recommend staying here!

    A weekend that will never be forgotten. Wonderful hosts and hostesses, wonderful guests, wonderful food, wonderful sleep, wonderful town - what else could a person want. Thank you. (P.S. I loved the murder mystery and being the one who done it!)

    I didn't want to leave!

    My daughter and I had a really nice time staying at The Harry Packer Mansion.The owners and their kids couldn't have been nicer,enjoyed our breakfast on the porch and talking to the owners.It's a very interesting house with lots of charm and I would highly recommend their place.

    This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! Bob, Pat, Taylor and Kristen feel like family! It's so enchanting here. It's like a step back in time, so peaceful, so beautiful and so friendly! Thank you Handwerk Family for such a lovely stay once again!
