Il Fairville Inn si trova nel cuore della valle Brandywine tra Winterthur Museum Longwood Gardens e pochi minuti dal quartiere degli affari a Wilmington, Delaware. The staff and management were vey friendly and helpful.Loved the room and the main house was very inviting and comfortable.The location was perfect for access to all attractions. Would stay again.

The owners Laura & Rick are always there to help make your stay wonderful, Laura is great at finding directions for out of the way places in the area, while Rick cooks the best breakfast that beats any four star restaurant you can find. The property is a beautiful yellow historic house with a spring house and beautifully designed gardens. They also have a friendly black lab named Ozzie that follows Rick around the property and is a great company for anyone one who misses their pet while on vacation.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Fairville. The owners could not have been more accomodating and friendly, nor could the staff. When we visit the area again this would be my first choice.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out our stay at Fairville was delightful. Everyone was very friendly, our breakfasts were delicious, and our morning conversation enhanced our stay. When I got home and was unpacking I realized I left a dress and sweater in the closet. I made a phone call and my outfit was at my doorstep within two days. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Laura and Rick, not to mention Ozzie, are great hosts. We have stayed at the Fairville Inn for many years and are always pleased. Rick, by the way, is a gourmet cook!

We found the Fairville Inn on B&B.com and enjoyed our stay there. It was convenient to places we wanted to go to and the setting was so restful and bucolic.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairville Inn while celebrating our anniversary. Our room (Carriage house room 4) was beautiful without the stuffiness we find at many inns. The balacony overlooking the grounds was a great place to start each day with a cup of coffee. The whole property (and the innkeepers) give a feeling of peacefulness and relaxation that we have not found at other inns we've visited. Next trip, we're planning to work in a day to stay on property enjoying the view of the lake , the gardens and peace and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

My husband and I stayed here overnight and very much enjoyed both the inn and our interaction with the innkeepers, Laura and Rick. They were very welcoming and friendly: when Rick learned that we were there for our anniversary, he asked if we liked chocolates and left a plate full of truffles and Venezuela chocolates in our room while we were out for dinner. There is also a lovely, friendly, well behaved dog on the premises, which made it feel like home. This inn is in a fabulous location for visiting the many interesting sites in the Brandywine Valley and includes on its website links to the many excellent restaurants in the area. It's definitely a place to visit for those who love history, nature and fine dining.
