Red Umbrella Bed and Breakfast

A great place to stay...newly renovated, it has the old world charm with all the modern amenities. The rooms are beautiful. The hostess is amazing. This is a place we will go to again. A top rated experience!

We stayed in the large room. The furnishings were nice and the bed was comfortable, but the big attraction was the bathroom! It was recently redone and had both a large bubble tub and a large 2 headed (with 4 jets on each side)computerized shower that also played music and could give a steam bath! It was awesome. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. A new patio was completed the day we arrived. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Location is good for those interested in either the Hershey attractions or the racetrack. It is quiet and peaceful there.

I took my husband to the Red Umbrella to celebrate his birthday. It was the perfect getaway. We enjoyed the inn and had some fun at the casino. I would highly recommend this inn.

What a wonderful find... traveling on business and usually stay in a hotel but needed to find other accommodations in Grantville... Innkeeper Anna turned my business trip into a mini-vacation... leaving with a definite expectation for a return with my spouse... the country aesthetic is tastefully supported with high tech amenities... what fun

I was racing in a triathlon in the area, and Anna was wonderful about letting me have my breakfast late (after the conclusion of the race in the morning and a shower back at the Red Umbrella) and also about checking out (so I could have a few minutes to relax after breakfast). Everything was top notch! Thanks again to Anna and Ray for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a girls weekend away at this wonderful B&B within a short distance of all the Hershey attractions. The Inn was impeccably decorated and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the Innkeeper attentive and hospitable. I highly recommend the Red Umbrella for an enjoyable, relaxing time away from the busyness of life.

My wife and I were hoping for a quiet retreat from our normal stress. Our expectations were exceeded when we saw the quality of Red Umbrella. Unassuming in its presence on a country road, the Red Umbrella greets with cozy modern conveniences coupled with the turn of the century charms. A must mention is the classy steam shower in the large suite complete with radio, steam and multi-head shower. Couples if you don't get this room you're missing out.

We stayed at this cozy and beautiful B&B for one night with my family in January and experienced a wonderful stay. Tim, Anna, Marisa, Ben and Ray were the most gracious of hosts in this stately house that dates from the 1840s. The place was sparkling clean and had amenities and decorations that provided a charm of both the past and the present. The breakfast was scrumptious and generous. Outside the spacious grounds in the back provide an ideal area to stroll and relax, and take in the beauty of the property. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We were first timers to the bed and breakfast experience and didnt know what to expect, but the hospitality at the Red Umbrella made everything so comfortable and inviting! We arrived in the late afternoon and immediately felt cozy and at home. We enjoyed snacks, a glass of wine, and an exciting scrabble game while talking with Anna and her daughter Marissa. They also gave us great advice of places to go for dinner and what to do in the area. That night, we enjoyed a relaxing night with their very fancy and high tech private bathroom which has a 2 headed full body shower and a extra large bathtub and bath salts. The bathroom is even fully stocked with everything you could ever need! The next morning, we were served an amazing breakfast with muffins, fruit, yogurt, and baked french toast. We loved it so much we were trying to figure out a way to stay one more night! Everyone must stay at the red umbrella whenever you are in the area!

My husband and I stayed at the Red Umbrella last night and were absolutely amazed at how incredible and seriously perfect everything was! We were greeted by a sign with our names on it, which was just one of the many awesome details that Anna puts into her establishment! We had a wonderful relaxing time, and can't wait to go back! Breakfast was SO delicious, and we really enjoyed the conversation with Anna and Ray. We HIGHLY recommend the Red Umbrella!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Red Umbrella and it was one of the best getaway weekends I can remember! This bed and breakfast has it all... the charm of history, a central location, and every modern convenience you can imagine, including brand new private bathrooms in each suite! We stayed in the largest suite which had its own steam shower! The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and were really informative about the area's attractions.
