I decided to book Battlefield B&B, since my husband is such a Civil War buff. He was not disappointed. The room was part of the original house and the breakfast talk by a Civil War expert was very captivating.

We were the only people there for the first and third nights of our stay. We received excellent service and the food was outstanding. Just a small note that some of the outlets in the room we stayed at the second and third nights need to be replaced. They do not hold a plug, as I plugged my phone in the recharge overnight and the plug fell out and it did not charge. I then noted that several of the outlets are loose. The window coverings might need to be updated. Overall our stay was excellent as always. Thanks for your hospitality.

Visited with my best friend on a quick trip up to Gettysburg and back the next day (from DC). Really enjoyed our time there! The staff was sooo friendly, the rooms were great, the grounds--beautiful, and the history talk the next morning was amazing! Definitely coming back (hopefully in warmer weather) to enjoy this beautiful location again.

Nice place. Large parlor room that would be great for a family gathering or intimate wedding. Only negative was that I thought it was closer to the main part of the battlefield.

Thank you for staying with us. To help orient future travelers, we are two miles from the Peach Orchard and the heart of Pickett's Charge. We are on a privately owned part of the South Cavalry Battlefield in an original 1809 farmhouse and the cavalry monuments are along our driveway. The whole park is 8 miles across and it takes 20 minutes to drive from one side to the other. The Visitor Center is also about 15 minutes away. We hope to see you in the future.

The B&B was quaint and charming. Great historic old location. The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. The breakfast's we had each day were fantastic. The historical speaker was very informative. Very close to historic battlefield which was easy to get to. The only negative was the showers were not very good. Water pressure was sporadic, tempature fluctuated and the water flow even completely shut off for several minutes during the shower. That was not a pleasant experience.

We had a lovely stay for our 51st anniversary. Nice place. We must come back when the weather is warm and not wet so we can explore the property. Like the fact that it is pet friendly. Have relative that do not go to places like this because of their animals.

Had a wonder visit. Gen. Merritt's room was cozy and the fireplace was awesome to warm up by after walking around the snow covered battlefields all day! Innkeepers were very helpful and pleasant, and excellent cooks. Breakfast was outstanding both mornings of our stay. Can't wait for a return visit.....Stayed with some great people, and made some new friends. Thanks much for a terrific, relaxing time!

We really enjoyed our stay - the innkeepers were so welcoming, as well as the other guests. Had two programs, which were very entertaining & breakfast was delicious! The massage chairs in Swan Cottage were wonderful! Will have to come back in summer!

Plenty of room for the dogs and the beautiful breakfast made fresh each morning fantabulous. Highly recommend the history presentations each morning every one is different.
