"My Fiancé and I were looking for somewhere to get away for the weekend and we found this bed and breakfast online. After reading so many great reviews, we booked the Alabaster room. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest woman who checked us in and asked what time we would like breakfast delivered to our room. She then showed us to our room and showed us how to work the hot tub (we loved the hot tub!). I couldn’t believe how clean the room was! Every morning they would leave breakfast outside our door. The food was so delicious (french toast was our favorite). It was just perfect being able to eat in bed with the fireplace going. Very cozy! Even though we were there in the winter, the view was just gorgeous. We had such a romantic and relaxing stay. On our second night there, my fiancé PROPOSED to me in front of the fireplace that was in our room!!! It was perfect and so romantic! I just can't say enough good things about this place! We will defiantly be back!! Oh and if you’re looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner at, Woodland Steakhouse in East Tawas (about 10-15 min away) is so good! I had the prime rib and my fiancé had the surf n turf. "
