  • L'ingresso di Fort Street è ombreggiato da alberi di acero e grande quercia. Graziosi bovindi offrono camere luminose e soleggiate.
    Una volta la camera da letto principale, la sala cornioli è spaziosa con ornato king bed and guardaroba. Il bagno molto grande ha una "ciabatta vasca," una doccia separata e il pavimento di mattonelle bianche stile vintage.
    Il Rose Garden Room è un completo e un letto doppio e un lavabo ornato. L'ampio angolo doccia è grande abbastanza per due!
    Uno dei due salotti presso la casa di Mead, questo ha un camino di gas accogliente e una combinazione di mobili antichi e tradizionali.
    Solo un piccolo angolo del bagno master originale, ha anche una doccia separata e un vecchio stile pullchain commode.
    Holly Tree dispone di un letto matrimoniale e un bagno molto grande con un'antica vasca e doccia separata. Si affaccia sul giardino est e un albero di grandi agrifoglio
    La sala Tulip Tree è luminoso e soleggiato con un letto matrimoniale e si affaccia sull'albero tulip grand nel giardino anteriore. Ha un lavandino old-fashioned ornato e un'ampia doccia.

    Così convenientemente situato! Un isolato dal distretto storico di arti Square, upscale pranzo e Stuart Opera House. Tre blocchi Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, Rocky Outdoor Gear e nuovo sentiero di mountain bike. Vicino al Hocking College, tutti i parchi Hocking Hills, Atene e Ohio University, Wayne forestale, Lago di speranza, 'ossessionato' Moonville Tunnel, lo shopping inusuale e tanto altro ancora! Quattro stanze, wi-fi, full breakfast.

    This was my first visit to a Bed and Breakfast and it has made me a believer! The friendliness of our host and our accommodations were excellent. Sue went out of her way to create special meatless hot breakfast meals for me (THANKS Sue). She is a very trusting and thoughtful host. Much continued success and thanks for making New Year's Eve Special.

    The room was amazing. We stayed in the Dogwood room, and the host, Sue was wonderful. Breakfast was more than I expected and tasted delicious. Highly recommend anyone to stay there and have this experience at least once! Deanna Hilliard

    A Wonderful Visit to Nelsonville

    At the last minute my husband and I were able to book a room at the Mead House. We didn't get the fanciest room at the Inn but the accommodations were very nice. The Innkeeper was so pleasant and we loved our visit.

    My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the stay! When we walked in our host had made fresh muffins. The place was warm and inviting and if we had any question our host was right there to answer them! When we got to our room, we were in awe! The room was beautiful and the bathroom was huge! Everything was so clean and organized! We got food at a local resuraunt and that was an awesome experience! The next morning she had coffee and juice waiting for us and made our breakfast fresh right then and there. We chatted and she let us explore the house and the house that she is in the process of restoring. She told us her and her husbands story and the houses story. We enjoyed our stay so much and we are eager to go back! We would recomend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant and quiet get away

    A Shining Gem with a Marvelous Hostess

    Having decided to stop halfway between our home in New Jersey and a family reunion in Kentucky, we chanced upon Mead House, knowing nothing about the B & B or the area. We were received by our gracious hostess (and marvelous cook), Mrs. Maxwell, led to our beautiful bedroom and spacious bathroom (complete with claw footed tub and a separate shower), and served cookies and refreshments. We discovered that Nelsonville has a thriving arts community, that geologically exciting hiking was close-by, and that nearby university town, Athens, was a delight to visit. We have stayed at many B & B's over the years and recommend Mead House without reservation. (But if I were you, I'd make a reservation as soon as possible!)

    The Mead House is a great experience

    We stayed at The Mead House for a quick weekend getaway. It served as our headquarters for weekend shopping in art galleries, hiking/exploring in the Hills and chatting with folks around town. The Mead House is very clean, the breakfast is healthy and elegant, the host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the rooms are nicely decorated, cozy and modern/historic at the same time.
