Cider Mill Inn B&B

This was my first B&B and my wife's second. It was a great experience. We were greeted by the friendly owner who welcomed us with a friendly smile. Breakfast was amazing and we were both blown away. I would definitely come back.

My wife and I have stayed at few B&Bs and this is the first time that I have written a review. Our host, Bob was so nice and made us feel incredibly welcomed. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Our plans only allowed us to stay one night, but we wish it could have been more! The breakfast (4 courses!) was tremendous!! That is an understatement. The scones/muffins were warm and tasty, the fruit was incredibly fresh, the Tai-Oatmeal could have been served as a dinner dessert, and then the eggs along with the baked croissant ham & cheese was just over the top!! The very best however is their cat Loki! He is sooooooo friendly and sooooo soft! Bob was wonderful to speak with and told us of a great place to buy the same soap they use. Rosner Soap located in Sugar Loaf, NY. We did not know that it would be located amongst all these other little shops, so thanks to Bob, we had a wonderful day going to these little shops (plus to Rosner Soap store as well). Next time we will plan to stay longer to use the outdoor pool and hot tub! I urge anyone looking for a B&B in this area should no doubt go to the Cider Mill Inn and you will not be disappointed! Spent 2 nights at this cozy inn. The sheets were amazing and the breakfasts were the best we've had anywhere! Friendly innkeeper - a true bed and breakfast - we'll be back!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Cider Mill Inn, and we loved it. Bob's a great host; he's not only an interesting guy with a wealth of knowledge about the area, but he's also truly interested in his guests; a good listener. The breakfasts are imaginative and truly memorable. I realized after our return home that I'd carelessly left behind a few books. I didn't call Bob about them immediately; imagine my pleasant surprise when they arrived nicely packaged in the mail (and Bob had sent them priority mail!). We will definitely return. Beautiful location, delightful room. Exquisite breakfast - 4 courses every morning, something different each day. Delicious scones and muffins for first course. Favorite the ham & cheese crisp. Wonderful place to stay.

Just came back from a music festival in nearby Warwick, NY; found the Cider Mill Inn a relaxing and friendly place to stay. They had everything we needed, it was clean, quiet and nicely appointed. The owner, Bob, was a great guy and very accommodating. I must admit my favorite thing about it was the breakfast, outstanding food!

The inn was located a good 20 min ride from the closest village that was full of small antiques stores. The whole house was tastefully decorated with vivid colors and schemes and romantic old style furniture with attention to detail. We booked the biggest room which looked like and old French country bedroom. Furniture, fabrics and decor items were tastefully combined and arranged. The bathroom was accordingly coordinated with the rest of the room and it featured an amazing jacuzzi. The fresh flowers in the room were a plus. Breakfast was well prepared and filling and it took approximately an hour and a half to two hours to be prepared and served. Be prepared to spend that amount of time in the breakfast table before you make any plans for the day. We overall believe that $550 for a two night stay is extravagant for a Bed and Breakfast located upstate New York.

All that we hoped for and more. The rooms are beutiful and well kept. Food was outstanding. 3 and 4 course meals for breakfast. Great location too. Dairy nearby with fresh cheese and bread, candy store with the best candy apples we've ever had, farmers markets, and great hiking. What else could you ask for.

Innkeeper was very nice and made sure to go out of his way for special occasions (he made us chocolate covered strawberries because it was my birthday) Very quiet and great for a relaxing weekend getaway. Nice pool and hot tub. Definitely recommend!
