Margot Guest House

We spent 5 nights at the Margot Guest House. It's a very good place to stay at NY. In a few minutes you are in the Central Park or at a subway station where you can go to all the different places in NY. Our room was clean and much bigger than we expected. There is no breakfast but you have everything that you need to make your own breakfast (like kitchenware, refirgerator, coffee maker and so on) or you can go a few blocks to different nice cafes. The innkeeper Todd was very nice and very, very helpful. We can really recommend the Margot Guest House!

C'est l'endroit où il faut séjourner quand vous êtes à New York !! Le lieu est magnifiquement décoré, chaque chambre a sa propre déco. C'est un endroit intimiste, calme et à 2 pas seulement de Central Park. Et pour couronner le tout, vous serez accueilli par un homme très charmant qui saura vous conseiller sur ce que new York a de magique...

We stayed here a few nights in Oct 2009 and found it to be a great location, great amenities, very clean and a terrific bargain in NYC. It is best for adults, quiet, great restaurants nearby and a very helpful host.

Margot Guest House is a true find. Todd (the inn keeper) went above and beyond what any hotel offers to make my fiancee and I feel right at home. Upon entering the B&B, you will notice the level of detail Todd went to adorn the home with classy, yet functional, peices throughout. Todd's unofficial middle name should be Details. Upon walking through the front doors, your private bedroom, or even the bathroom, Todd took a lot of time making sure the little things were covered. Solid food options (with directions) in the immediate area, check! Alternate routes to navigate through NYC, check! Lite dimmer switch for the bathroom, check! The Margot Guest House will easily be a first choice for a follow up trip.

I cannot tell you how wonderful Todd the innkeeper is. He was so helpful during our stay! My daughter and I stayed there for a week and todd went out of his way to always be helpful. The pictures of the house are accurate. The fixtures and furniture in the house are so beautiful! The restoration of this brownstone beauty was done with tender lover care. I highly recommend staying in this house if you want a place that is reasonable in price and in a neighborhood that makes you feel like a resident.

This was our second stay in New York, and it was much better than a regular hotel. The rooms have a very authentic french feel - really cute; and the innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend it to friends & family.

We stayed at Margot guest house a couple of months ago and had the time of our life in Manhattan. The house is very elegant, gorgeous bathrooms, beautiful wood work and details everywhere, very comfortable, spacious. A perfect oasis after a day spent around the city. And near some great new restaurants. As well as around the corner from my favorite part of Central Park, the North part with the Conservatory gardens. You can conveniently take the nº6 train to anywhere as well as the nº2. We love it and will soon book our next visit to NY there. A very lovely host too.
