Occupando una storica casa di fila in legno che risale al 1820 è le 2 camere designer. Vecchi amanti di casa saranno affascinati dai dettagli che includono pavimenti, soffitti tin & anche una vasca artiglio piedi nudi. La casa è stata studiata anche da parte di archeologi che disvcovered un tesoro storico dell'edificio. In contrasto con il tradizionale edificio sono metà modernamente vintage [oggetti risalenti a diciannove anni quaranta agli anni settanta.]. Molti sono pezzi di design originali, alcune con provenienza importante. In aggiunta ci altri pezzi unici contemporanei, arte & accessori aggiunta per l'atmosfera creativa della Greenpointer. Greenpoint, principalmente una combinazione dei loft industriale low rise & XIX secolo una case di fila, ha l'atmosfera & la scala di un villaggio lungomare cool. Questo rifugio di Brooklyn alla moda con favolosi ristoranti, negozi e bar è anche ultra conveniente per tutti i Manhattan ha da offrire. I was a late twenty something traveler looking for something a little more private than a hostel but more affordable than a hotel, so I looked on B&B.com and found the Greenpointer. I almost thought this place was too good to be true. The price was perfect, the room was huge, clean, and furnished with awesome mid-century modern pieces (there was a large Burke Saarinen table in my room!) The Inn is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on quite Green Street with a two minute walk to Franklin Ave. and five minute walk to Manhattan Ave. where there are plenty of wonderful shops, coffee bars and restaurants. I stayed at the Greenpointer this September for three days and had a great experience. Glenn, the innkeeper/owner was more than accommodating and extraordinarily friendly; I arrived three hours before check-in and he let me leave my belongings in the room and gave me a map of the area pointing out places to shop and eat. I honestly don't know where else you could stay in a hip area of Brooklyn for $100 a night and get the space, style and accommodations that are offered at the Greenpointer. Glenn was a great host.
