    Confortevole eleganza nel cuore del quartiere storico di esperienza. Costruito intorno al 1850 come una casa di quattro stanze per Benjamin ed Eliza Ellis, la locanda è stata in funzione dal 1985. Numerose aggiunte sono state effettuate a casa come la famiglia Ellis è cresciuto. Durante la guerra civile, società K della 45a Massachusetts Volunteer milizia ha occupato la casa. È stata apportata la modifica più interessante circa 1900 quando la casa è stato sawed a metà, nove piedi separati, e un ingresso separato e la scalinata è stato installato per la costruzione di due abitazioni. La Locanda offre sette camere e 3 suite, tutte con bagno privato. La suite di Benjamin Ellis ha un salotto con divano letto estraibile queen sized ed una camera con un letto a baldacchino queen sized. Questa disposizione è ideale per le famiglie. La romantica Suite Eliza ha un letto King dimensioni e dispone di un cuore a forma di vasca/doccia idromassaggio, perfetto per una fuga romantica speciale.     Nice B&B, Very Pleasant Innkeepers

    Stayed in Room 3 with twin beds foot-to-foot. Small room but very comfortable. Breakfasts were very good. Ed and Sooki were very nice and attentive. New Bern is a great town to walk around and enjoy the outdoors, not just Tryon Palace and the Visitor Center.

    We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Harmony House. It is well named!! Our room was spacious, the queen sized bed extremely comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, interacting with other guests! That is the best part of a B & B experience! Ed and Sooki were so gracious and attentative to every detail of our stay.

    We stayed over this past weekend and really found the inn to be comfortable and clean. Have stayed in a couple other B&Bs in the area and this one is now on top of our list.

    I stayed here with my husband for one night in September. We arrived early for check -in, but Alan allowed us to check in early, which was great as we were able to go off and explore New Bern a little before getting ready for dinner. As we checked in, he gave us a small map of the town, highlighting good places to eat and visit. We had room no 5 (If I remember correctly). It was a king sized bed. It was very comfortable, nicely decorated and we felt at ease. The bathroom was standard, bath with shower over, all very clean, lovely fluffy towels provided. It was great. Alan had informed us that there was a social hour - I think 6pm -7pm- so we got ready to go out to dinner and called into the sitting room tomeet the other guests. Wine was provided for guests and cheese and crackers. it was nice to sit and chat with others before going out into the town for dinner. Breakfast the next day was great. There were two large tables so we joined two other couples for a sociable chat. Breakfast was a help yourself affair, it was all delicious. I can't remember now what there was but it was sufficient to set us up for a nice Sunday morning strolling around the town. There was ample free parking around the back of the property. I would definitely recommend the Harmony House Inn to anyone visiting New Bern.

    Very friendly owners and uncomplicated check-in, check-out procedure. Room furniture a bit stuffy but clean and tidy. Big plus was parking in the back of the property.

    This was by far the best B&B on my trip to Eastern NC. The location is excellent and the Inn far exceeded my expectations.
