    Il Posto Vecchio è stata fondata intorno al 1780-1801 ed è un pre-guerra civile cabina completamente ricostruito. Un sacco di storia della guerra civile e manufatti grande. Situato a solo un decimo di un miglio dalla strada principale. La cabina ha due sezioni di includere cucina, sala grande, 3 camere da letto, due camini in pietra di grandi dimensioni con i ceppi di gas, 2 1 / 2 bagni (vasca idromassaggio in bagno master). C'è una grande veranda e un portico posteriore schermato. Appartato, silenzioso e tranquillo, con diversi sentieri escursionistici.

    Wonderful Retreat

    We booked The Old Place to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful surprise less than 5 miles from our home. Well off the beaten path, we felt we'd stepped back in time. We enjoyed walks in the woods and the gazebo at the pond. So peaceful, we hated to leave. A great way to get away and reconnect with each other and nature. We'll definitely be going again soon.

    Great Getaway!

    This is a wonderful place. It is quiet and peaceful. I wish there more pictures because it is way more than one would expect. If you are looking for solitude this is the place to go! Well off the "beaten track" but close enough to town. The history is amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we have already booked another stay!

    Heaven on earth!

    The most peaceful, relaxing 3 days we've ever spent. The only sound we heard was that of nature, the restful squeek of the porch swing and the gentle slap of the screen door. A little slice of Heaven on earth. We will stay here the next time we come to North Carolina.
