    1895 Villa georgiana in National Historic District di Montford del Asheville. La locanda è a pochi passi dal centro Asheville, & minuti dal Biltmore Estate e il Blue Ridge Parkway. La casa si trova in un parco mezzo acro come impostare con 100 anni fa, aceri, giardini fioriti e un prato dolce pendenza. Sontuosi prima colazione viene servita, a lume di candela, ogni mattina. Oltre ai cinque camere, ci sono due saloni, sala da pranzo formale, un angolo con con camino e una grande e bella hall. Ogni camera è arredata in modo univoco con pezzi d'antiquariato, tappeti persiani e d'arte unica. Gli alti soffitti goffrati, quattro caminetti, rovere d'oro originale e le finestre con piombo e vetrate classiche tutti servono a creare un'atmosfera incantevole.

    An excellent Choice

    The Lion and the Rose has everything one can want for, class, charm and the best breakfast ever at the most beautifully set table. One night was not enough and we hope to return some day to take advantage of the pleasant living area, books to read and delicious chocolates all over the place.

    Great B and B in Asheville

    We stayed at the Lion and the Rose in Asheville at New Years, and it was so nice. The place is beautiful inside and out, but it was very special during the holiday season. Its a great value, and seems more reasonably priced than some of the other inns. The innkeepers are great and so is the gourmet breakfast. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay!

    Wonderful Place!

    My husband and I stayed at the inn in November. The inn is absolutely beautiful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a sitting area that we both enjoyed. We were able to watch a few movies and relax. The inn has many amenities that I have not seen in other places. My favorite is their pantry area where they have complimentary water, soft drinks, coffee tea, and some sweet treats. The service was excellent. I will recommend this inn to others that come visit Asheville.

    What a treat

    I can't imagine a more satisfying B&B experience. Beautiful and spacious home with a large porch and comfortable rooms. In addition to the gourmet breakfasts, Jim and Linda offer a frig full of drinks, all kinds of snack and homemade cookies. They are wonderful hosts in every respect, even bringing coffee to your room in the morning. We look forward to a return visit with them.

    My husband and i just returned from The Lion And The Rose. We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The room was beautiful and very clean, and the breakfasts were so delicious! I highly recommend it!!

    Beautiful Inn, Fantastic Service

    My husband and I have enjoyed a nearly annual trip to Asheville to visit friends and the Biltmore Estate, and especially enjoy the Montford B&B's. The Lion & Rose is in a convenient location and the gardens are highly impressive compared to many Asheville B&B's. The owners were gracious, and sizable breakfast was worth its weight in gold! We would both highly recommend The Lion & Rose as a perfect taste of Asheville.

    Nice and Convenient

    Our room was nice. The breakfasts were large and tasty. Jim and Linda were friendly and made good restaurant suggestions. The best part about this inn is its convenience to everything we wanted to do in Asheville! We recommend the Lion and the Rose as a great "home base" for anyone touring the Biltmore House and shopping/dining/touring Asheville. The visitor center is within walking distance!

    Comfortable and Cozy

    Used the B&B as a base to visit Biltmore. Great Jamaican style restaurant just down the road. Rooms a little smaller than expected. Nice historic district.
