"My wife and I enjoyed the most wonderful trip to the Prairie Creek Inn we could have asked for last month. Bruce and Maureen Stahr were incredibly generous and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We had stayed there about a year ago, and the innkeepers have done so much more with the house and the property, I had to write about how glad we were to return! The house is beautiful with a story you have to hear and see to believe, the grounds are gorgeous, and the lake and hiking trails were absolutely picturesque every step of the way. The food was GREAT!!!--exactly like my mother used to make. Getting to walk through the beautiful old barn that has been so painstakingly restored and interacting with their horses was a huge highlight for me. Bruce even set up the croquet set for us to play in their gorgeous yard, and we had a marvelous time. The antique Steinway piano was jaw-dropping, and they even let me play it for a bit. Simply put, this was the best trip we could have asked for, and we will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks, Bruce and Maureen, for such a MARVELOUS experience!"
