    Beautiful getaway

    Came for long weekend last year with my friend and her family (husband and 2 young girls. The property is beautiful and well kept. The rooms a very very comfortable. You can see how much time, effort and money go into the gem of a B&B. The young girls loved the horses and chickens. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to visiting again this year.

    Beautiful and peaceful setting, very comfortable inn. Delicious and varied breakfast, and the pleasure of seeing farm animals -- horses, donkeys, cows. Maggie was very warm and welcoming and provided helpful advice about the area, places to visit and good restaurants. Great place!

    We feel so blessed to have discovered Whistlewood a few years ago, and have returned over an over again, for relaxation and fun. At Whistlewood, every season brings something new and exciting. Maggie and team do a great job of making guests feel comfortable and cared for, while the animals take care of the entertainment. It's simple wonderful!

    We Love It HERE! Off the beaten path but so very close to whatever you like to do. Sweet little shops or curious antiques are just a five minute drive. We spent our honeymoon at Whistle Wood and returned for our anniversary. There is no one who can match the welcoming, warm and comforting environment of this rustic but sophisticated Bed and Breakfast. Every window has a pleasant picture of the emmaculate farm. The rooms are accomodating like a fine hotel but better. Linens.... sleep in such comfort. Eye catching colors and soft flow of decor in every room. The staff are lovely down to earth people who take very good care of each detail to ensure no guest is overlooked. The food is farm fresh and home made. I am always overwhelmed by the phenominal breakfast. Best ever! No expense spared here. We"ve never been at a place that made you feel at home but treated you like royalty. Way to go, Maggie!     Godere il letto king size, sedersi da tuo caldo e accogliente caminetto e godetevi la vista attraverso porte in francese e il patio, dell'allevamento e i cavalli del passato. L'arredamento includono una canoa Old Towne vintage sospesa dal soffitto, un salotto con una cuccetta loveseat/twin e una sedia klapvisier in pelle. Una bella Adriondack stile scrivania e un armiore di pino per i vestiti. Il grande idromassaggio in bagno è il luogo ideale per godersi le cure via.     Regina di grande dimensioni Cherry bitangenza posto letto e un Antique Brass twin bed un ponte privato con tavolo e sedie per rilassarsi e ammirare il giardino informale, muri di pietra e la foresta di là. Zona di seduta vicino le porte di vetro scorrevole rendono facile per rilassarsi e godersi gli uccelli in volo per gli alimentatori e un cervo occasionale vagare attraverso la foresta. Il bagno dispone di una doccia e una vanità.

    Generoso Four poster king sized bed a godere. Birdseye maple dressing table, scrivania e apprettatrice fornire questa stanza. Muri verdi pallidi mostrano un'Unione superfici handemade d'epoca con colori verde e viola. Il bagno ha una grande doccia generoso e vanità.

    La nostra camera più piccola e coziest con un acero birdseye antiche dressser e ciliegio notte stand. Un'Unione di superfici a mano d'epoca si blocca sopra il letto in gialli geometrici e colori bianchi complimentarmi con il blu consolatrice floreale sul poster quattro dimensioni letto. Il bagno privato per questa stanza è solo in tutta la sala, ha un lucernario per grande luce naturale. Una combinazione di vasca/doccia, due lavandini di fianco a fianco, sono in questo bagno generoso.

    Questa grande stanza ha un soffitto di cattedrale, Lucernari, un camino fieldstone e un patio privato. Il salotto è dresssed con un rustico antler lampadario. La suite è un lettore di CD stereo e TV per DVD/VCR. C'è un divano addormentato di regina per persone extra per dormire su come un comodo salotto. Mobili antichi includono un armadio, apprettatrice Impero e una scrivania Adirondack per iscritto. Il letto è una regina con una testata di libreria di pino. Il bagno spazioso ha una doccia separata e una vasca idromassaggio circondato con Cottage naturale locale.

Essi danno questa camera con una zona di ubicazione di fronte un angolo fieldstone camino un bagliore caldo. Il pino Regina dimensioni quattro poster letto guarda fuori sul proprio patio e il pascolo sud. Il bagno anche con un soffitto alto pino è una combinazione di idromassaggio, doccia per farvi godere.

    A Little Piece of Heaven

    We arrived in early September when the coneflowers were still in bloom. The first views past the horse barn were like a fairy tale. The 24x7 hospitality buffet was overflowing with fresh homemade pies, tortes, and muffins. Breakfast is gourmet fresh food; herbs and produce from the garden, free range fresh eggs from the hens. If your idea of relaxation is a stroll and a quiet chat with a horse at their box stall window, or bird watching from the veranda, bookmark this page and book your stay here

    Wonderful B&B

    My wife and I decided to go to a B&B to celebrare our fifth wedding anniversary. As we had never been to a B&B, we were not sure what to expect. Then, we had an unexpected problem at home and nearly had to cancel our stay, but thanks to Maggie's kindness and understanding, we were able to postpone our trip for a day and arrived late afternoon on Sep't. 6'th. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tracie, who showed us our room in the Carriage House and explained the ammenities available there as well at the main house. There is no cable tv in the carriage House, but there are plenty of dvd's available both there and in the main house too and it was not any kind of a problem for us. There are tasty deserts and snacks available at all times in the main house. For breakfast, Tracie made such delights an corn fritters, buttermilk pancakes and the best eggs that I have had since I was a kid. They get their eggs from their own naturally fed chickens and they are fabulous. Tracie makes the jams and jellies and they also are terrific. After breakfast, Tracie gave us a couple of melons filled with scrap fruit to give to the chickens as well as some apple slices for the horses. That was fun. There are trails around the farm and it was a very fun and relaxing place to celebrate our anniversary. There were two things that we were sorry for. Maggie had to be away for a few days and we were sorry for not having the chance to meet her. That being said, Tracie was warm, friendly and made us feel both comfortable and appreciated. She could not have been better. The other thing that we were sorry for was that after two fantastic nights, we had to leave. We highly recommend a stay at the Whistlewood Farm B&B.

    absolutely wonderful!

    WhistleWood is very relaxing and refreshing. We planned on staying 1 night, and added a second when we were not ready to leave! Maggie and the rest of the staff are welcoming and accommodating. There were always freshly baked pies available. And of course the friendly horses to feed and pet! The location is perfect- easily accessible, yet a country retreat. It is just a short distance to attractions such as zip lining and the Culinary Institute. We certainly will return in the future.

    Wonderful Stay!

    We came to Whistlewood for a quick trip to get away from the City and I'm so glad we did! The grounds are beautiful and so are the rooms! The breakfast was delightful and it is so close to town. Even my dogs had a great time! We will be back!
