  • Costruito nel 1829 da Samuel Boothroyd su un apparato militare, questa terra è stato dato alla mia famiglia da George Washington nel 1797. Riacquisire il romanticismo di una fantasia vittoriano riempito con pezzi d'antiquariato & lacci. Tranquilla eleganza con abbondante colazione servita a lume di candela e sistemazioni eccellenti. Il tempo sembra stare ancora nel The Hound crassicaudatus.
    "THE ROOM Cristina": this room darling adiacente la Vanessa ha due due dimensioni letti antichi, A/C e bagno privato. Fantastiche viste da questa stanza dei giardini e Koi Pond. I miei figli chiamavano camera casa sull'albero perché sembra che sono fino alle cime di albero di pino.
    "THE VICTORIA": questa magnifica sala vittoriana è sul lato nord della casa, letto matrimoniale, armadi spaziosi e un bello, Vittoriano bagno con jacuzzi. A/C
    "THE ROOM VANESSA": this room risplende con un letto di ottone alta, cuscini e Unione superfici. A sud sul lato della casa, (retro) ha viste dei giardini e stagno ed è adiacente alla doppia con letti Christina. 2 bagni privati (uno con vasca idromassaggio) e A/C.
    "La TV ROOM/biblioteca": Off il soggiorno e sala da pranzo, gli ospiti si riuniscono per giocare giochi da tavolo, leggere o guardare la TV.
    "THE LIVING ROOM": per il relax, il soggiorno degli ospiti è completo con camino, dove serviamo il tè. Dopo che sono insediati, colleghiamoci per il tè e crumpets.
    "La sala da pranzo": Awaken per l'aroma del caffè, deliziosi casa al forno cibi ricchi e una colazione deliziosa gourmet servita a lume di candela con porcellane finissime, argento e cristallo.
    "Il giardino di COLIBRÌ": questo giardino è uno dei tanti nostri motivi. Gli ospiti potranno gustare il pomeriggio ad ascoltare i suoni della natura.
    "THE ROOM VALERIE": this room è la nostra bella suite nuziale e situato nell'ala est della casa. Ha un bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio e un magnifico candelabri d'oro. Letto con vista sul laghetto e giardini. A/C, ma naturalmente!

    Il Segugio e la lepre è stato che ospita gli ospiti dal 1985 e si trova nella città di Ithaca, un miglio a nord della Cornell University e cinque miglia a nord di Ithaca College. Samuel Boothroyd costruito questa casa di mattoni bianchi magnifico stile coloniale su un Parcel apparato militare dato ai miei antenati da George Washington per il servizio nel cammino rivoluzionario (c) 1797. Gli ospiti una colazione completa sana con deliziosi sapori e aromi. Tutte le camere dispongono di letti queen size e bagni privati (uno ha due letti singoli). C'è aria centrale, TV via cavo e Wireless Internet. Ci è abbondanza di largo parcheggio sulla strada. Ci dispiace, non fumare o animali domestici ammessi.

    Fabulous, Friendly, Fascinating

    This is one of the best B & B's we have ever stayed at. We loved the decor, the gardens, the food, but most of all we loved the vivacious hostess Zetta Sprole. She couldn't have made us feel more welcome! She is generous with her knowledge of history, nutrition, ornothology, and culture. The room and ensuite has everything the traveller needs and more. The bed was so comfortable. Every where the eye travelled was filled with delight. I go back in a minute!

    Spent 1 night at the Hound & Hare. Loved the bedding, the clean room, the personal touch of Ms Zetta, the breakfast and the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!h

    This beautifully appointed inn is comfortable and, in many ways, magical. Charming decor, spacious yet cozy, located on a lovely piece of land; the garden is glorious! Best of all, Zetta Sprole is a delight and she prepares exceptional breakfasts. Can't wait to return!

    Charming and restful haven of peace

    I stayed at the Hound and Hare for two nights of total rest and relaxation in a beautifully and tastefully decorated house. Tea and biscuits were available each afternoon next to the garden terrace, a wonderful venue for quiet reading and bird watching. The innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfortable, all definitely worth the price paid. I highly recommend this inn on a quiet street not far from Cornell University.

    The location is excellent, very close to Cornell. The rooms we had were immaculate and very comfortable. The innkeeper is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The environment is welcoming, the grounds are lovely and the food is excellent.

    A Gem In Ithaca Next To Cornell

    After driving five hours to visit the campus of Cornell University with four boys needed a nice inn to recuperate in. The Hound and Hare was just a perfect place for us. We comfortably fitted in two rooms, the Vanessa and Christina. We were just overwhelmed by the charm of the house and its decor. Zetta was simply fabulous with her grace and hospitality. Having a proper family breakfast served in a beautiful family dining room was just a wonderful experience for the kids and the kids impressed Zetta as well with their manners. It was very lucky for us to have found such a gem in Ithaca next to Cornell. We look forward to a more leisurely stay next time when we come to visit our Cornell boy.

    Beautiful B&B!!

    This Bed and Breakfast is the most pleasant, beautiful clean one I have ever stayed at. The Hostess was wonderful, and allowed my daughter at Cornell to come for breakfast without any extra charge. The food was scrumptious. I have made reservations for graduations already, 4 years away! ... will definitely be returning here.

      Syracuse aeroporto è il RT. 81 Nord, in modo da sud la testa fuori dell'aeroporto, quindi viaggia su RT. 81 sud per circa 30 km uscita 12 (uscita Itaca), prendere a sinistra al semaforo (RT. 281), prendere RT. 281 a RT 13 sud a Itaca. La strada di Warren uscita prendere a sinistra (Ithaca aeroporto è a nord), proseguire sulla Rd Warren a quattro modalità di STOP, svoltare a destra in Hanshaw, ci siamo sulla sinistra, un paio di isolati lungo la strada a Hanshaw 1031.
