    They have cats that do not enter the Bed and Breakfast side of the house, but nonetheless caused an allergic reaction in my partner.

    Pleasant & very interesting home

    We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Pratt Smith House. The house is filled with all sorts of interesting collections, and has been nicely maintained for the antiquity of the house. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Alan and Anne were very friendly, hospitable hosts, and the breakfast was delicious. Great place to stay for a very reasonable price.

    We were quite pleased with the accommodations, and Anne and Alan are very congenial hosts! Breakfast was on time and was excellent in selection and quality. No hesitation to recommend.

    The Pratt Smith house is about 200 years old. If you want a quiet, economical place to stay in central New York with a delicious breakfast and friendly hosts, then this is the pace for you!

    We needed a simple overnight stay and the Pratt Smith house was the perfect fit. Though "north" of Utica, it really is in Utica and was only 20 minutes from Hamilton College. The breakfast was exceptional and a great value. We had a need to store somethings in a freezer and fridge overnight and they accommodated us without a problem. Anne, Allan and Emily, thanks much!

    I stayed at this B&B for three nights. The service and breakfast was outstanding. Each morning was a different breakfast with many items being served. It is only $75 a night and well worth the value. The only ding I would give this place is it needed a more comfortable bed.
