    L'Area Parlor Common La zona comune offre ai nostri ospiti una zona per sedersi e rilassarsi, racimolare uno spuntino, prendere un po 'di televisione (satellite), o visitare il sito. Un tavolo per la colazione, con posti a sedere per quattro, è anche perfetto per un gioco da tavolo dopo una giornata di sentieri per escursioni in montagna. Una stufa a legna aggiunge l'atmosfera, e che offre grande fragranza di legna per impostare uno stato d'animo ideale nelle sere fredde.     Situato a Santa Fe National Forest, Gateway Wilderness è privato ed esclusivo, offrendo una vera esperienza di deserto. Ogni suite ha il calore radiante e un bagno privato.     We had the guest cabin and it was very nice. Comfy bed and very clean. The location of the cabin is secluded and the view of the stars at night breathtaking. Would certainly stay there again. We did not eat any meals at the Lodge.

    The location and view were amazing. The rooms were very clean, and the hosts were very nice. The walls, however, are paper thin and so even quiet conversation can be heard clearly in the next rooms. There is only one TV which is in a small room in-between the two guest rooms in the house and is also easily heard through the walls even at low volume levels. We enjoyed our stay, but did think that some might want to know that there may not be quite as much privacy or peace and quiet (depending on who else is staying there) as one might hope for.

    Mountain Paradise

    This bed and breakfast is remotely located in the mountains above Pecos, NM. The inn and its surroundings are beautiful. The proprietors, Steve and Patty, were friendly, helpful and good cooks. Because of its remoteness, we chose to have our dinners at the inn, and they were great. Of course, so were the breakfasts. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and for our next stay we are going for the larger room with king size bed - cuz' we like to stretch out. All in all, we can recommend the Wilderness Gateway Bed and Breakfast - for peace and quiet, friendly service, and the great outdoors for excercise to walk off the wonderful meals!

    Nice room, a little cramped

    You should put in a little table or utility cart for the microwave and coffeemaker. Take them off of the table. This room could be a cozy retreat for a couple. Also include a couple of stemware glasses for wine. Even cozier!

    Mountain Paradise!

    The location is primo, the dinners were delicious, the lodge was warm, comfortable, and very clean. But, the best parts of the whole experience were the host and hostess, Steve and Patty. We were warmly welcomed and treated like family. They were wonderful to my son and I for our entire stay. For hiking, fishing, or just relaxing away from the rest of the world, this is the place to stay in New Mexico! David Henslee

    This was a return visit and it was just as good, if not better, than our first visit. Steve and Patty are fantastic hosts. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The location is perfectly suited for hiking, birding, fishing, or just escaping. The food is wonderful. A great B&B in a beautiful setting. A real value. Highly recommended.
