Stephen Clay Homestead B&B

Our stay was very nice and an exceptional value for the cost. The hosts are very personable and friendly and helpful in suggesting nearby activities and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful but the quality was not above the average of all B&Bs we have stayed in over the past 20 years.

We stayed here on both ends of our trip from California to Maine through Manchester airport. It was excellent. We have stayed before and each time it is like visiting friends. The Sterlings are such gracious and lovely hosts. The grounds and home are beautiful. Breakfast delicious. Everything is perfect.

The rooms were very nice and the hosts were more than willing to chat both about the house and the town. They were quite accommodating. The only downside is the shared bathroom, but the low price combined with the lovely rooms and pleasant location more than make it worthwhile

The Stephen Clay Homestead B & B was the perfect setting for our wedding and Ed & Theresa were the most wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with the preparations and cleanup and very accommodating. The grounds were really beautiful for a June wedding and provided a very nice background for our wedding pictures. You could tell they take very good care of the grounds. The inn itself was very quaint and cozy and the suite we were in was very comfortable. It made you feel at home. Breakfast was also delicious and very filling. I am so glad I found the Stephen Clay B & B to have our wedding at! Thank you Ed & Theresa!

We found a wonderful place to stay with a friendly to host us. They were flexible and shared their home with us, a beautiful place. We might add!

it was like stepping back into time. The owners are attentive and care about your stay. The breakfast is a feast. Also, the location saved $ on gas.

The couple that own and operate this lovely establishment provided excellent logistical support for an on-site wedding. After the madness, I slept like a baby. Outstanding.

Ed and Theresa were great- the location just out of Manchester and promity to major roads was a big plus. Loved the room- loved the food.

T have a Small child & Ed brought out toys that were his so he would have things to play with under the tree. This B&B was beautiful & would recommend them to any one.

This bed and breakfast is an elegant, carefully decorated, peaceful retreat 10 miles from Mancheseter, NH. The home and grounds are very attractive. The owners were extremely gracious, welcoming us warmly and helping us with our dining and travel plans. The room we had featured period decorations and an exceptionally comfortable four-poster bed. Nice touches include fluffy white towels and bathrobes, natural soaps, fresh flowers, a cute gift shop and attractive sitting and dining rooms. Three choices are offered for breakfast; the eggs benedict were excellent. We would definitely return.
