    Our Bed & Breakfast is situated on the ground floor of a canal house in the heart of Old Amsterdam and consists of one large bedroom, an on-suite bathroom and access to a private garden. There is also a small kitchenette in the bedroom. Upon leaving the house, you will find yourself on the Egelantiers Canal. This picturesque canal flows into the Prinsengracht, right across from the Anne Frank House and the Westerkerk.

    Thoughtful and unobtrusive hospitality

    Our stay at The Garden Bed and Breakfast in Amsterdam ensured that our visit in that city was memorable. The apartment was comfortable, secure and scrupulously clean, opening on to a small, elegant courtyard garden. The location could not have been better, in the Jordan area and with a lovely canal opposite the front door. The hosts were quietly efficient and helpful but never obtrusive, offering advice on local restaurants and delivering a warm loaf of fresh bread each morning to our door. We would recommend it to any traveller.

    This B&B is in a very convenient location for exploring Amsterdam, either on foot or using public transportation. The canal neighbourhood is charming and quiet, and there are good restaurants, including excellent take-away pizza and a supermarket, just a few minutes away. The room itself is spacious and naturally extends into a small, but pleasant garden. The bed is large and comfortable and the amenities of the shower and bathroom exceed all expectations. There is also plenty of storage space. While contact with the family who run the B&B is limited, they provide fresh, home-baked bread in the morning and are happy to replenish the other breakfast foods, such as ham, cheese, juice and yoghurt, upon request. There is plenty of "real" coffee and tea on hand, too. The plates, glasses and cutlery needed for easy dining--including a sommelier-style corkscrew--are provided. While the room rate may be a appear to be a little higher than elsewhere, there is no doubt that this B&B represents good value. Robin + Kuniaki

    Awesome stay!

    This gorgeous Bed & Breakfast made our stay in Amsterdam absolutely wonderful! It imparts a sense of peace and calm and is very very clean. The bathroom is very modern, the bed is super comfortable and the garden is lovely to sit in to enjoy the delicious breakfast provided. We loved the privacy provided to us- we had our own set of keys- which we used to enter whenever we wished. I would definitely return here on our next trip to Amsterdam.

    The bedroom has one king size bed and a very comfortable sofa-bed which can easily sleep one adult, or two young children. The french-doors at the end of the room open into our beautiful garden. Please feel free to go outside and perhaps enjoy your breakfast between the flowers! The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Fresh high quality towels and linnen will be in the room upon your arrival. There is also a small, fully stocked, kitchenette in the room.
