    Bed & Breakfast Batavia offre tranquillità e privacy a destra dietro l'angolo di una delle più frequentate aree commerciali e ristoranti di Amsterdam. Dal Bed & Breakfast Batavia si può camminare in 10 minuti alla Stazione Centrale o in 5 minuti al quartiere Jordaan accogliente. La Casa di Anna Frank, Piazza Dam, quartiere a luci rosse e Cina città sono tutti raggiungibili a piedi. Il Rijksmuseum, il Van Gogh Museum, Leidseplein, e il Mercato dei Fiori è raggiungibile a piedi o in autobus o in tram. Il Bed & Breakfast dispone di due camere per non fumatori con alti soffitti a piano terra di una casa di tre piani della città. Entrambe le camere sono dotate di confortevoli letti queen size e un bagno privato con doccia. Tempo permettendo ci si può sedere fuori a godersi l'atmosfera nel cortile. Nella vostra camera potete fare una tazza di caffè o tè e godere di privacy e comfort. Colazione, semplice ma gustosa, è stabilito in anticipo in modo da poter consumare la colazione quando si desidera. In caso di richieste particolari vi preghiamo di farcelo sapere. Aeroporto internazionale di Schiphol dista meno di 20 km ed è facilmente raggiungibile in treno o in taxi. Vi auguriamo un piacevole soggiorno!

    A friend asked us to try out a bnb in Amsterdam. This is our first time and we loved the experience. My husband and I took the large room which was clean and spacious. The private entrance within a courtyard is a really good feature. The breakfast was nice and more than enough to pack for lunch as well. Consider different breakfast everyday. A toaster ovenette would be appreciated. Location is fantastic as we either did a 10 minute walk from Central Station or took Bus No. 48 which is 2 stops to Westerdokdijk. Please provide more coffee, milk and sugar. Also we needed chopsticks and spoons to eat the cup noodles. In all beautiful country with friendly people. One of our better holidays compared to London, Paris and Rome. Best wishes to Liana, Henk and Naomi.

    Modern B&B with friendly hostess in quiet district

    We stayed two nights in the big room. It is modern but cosy, very clean and has a lot of space, a king-size double bed and two armchairs. There is TV and WLAN but we did not use them. The bath was in perfect state with WC and shower. The entrance of the room is in a courtyard shared with other flats of this modern multi-storey building. In case of nice weather you can sit on a bench in the courtyard, although I would rather spent time on the sunny Westerdok itself. The main entrance to the courtyard is from the Westerdok side. It is nice to walk along the Westerdok with its boathouses (no cars). It is a very quiet area. The hostess is very friendly. We felt comfortable there and it was nice to return to the room for an afternoon break. The Westerdok is 10-15 minutes by foot from the Amsterdam Centraal station and 5 minutes from the pleasant Jordaan district, where you can find restaurants, pubs and shops. I recommend to visit the other side of the Westerdok: quiet streets and typical Amsterdam houses on small island and picturesque bridges. So a very good location on the whole. There are two minuses to the room: The breakfast was probably ok for Dutch standards but not for mine. It is set the day before on a small table: 2x Nescafé (no real coffee!), 2 teabags, very few marmelade and butter, sandwiches, cheese and ham in sufficient quantity. I really missed the coffee and the Nescafé quantity is not sufficient if both of you drink coffee. Another minus: In the big room there is a closed door. Behind the door is the heating and hot water system. Unfortunately it is loud (deep vibrations) when it is working, so if you have sensitive ears it is better to sleep with ear protection. Despite the two minuses I will recommend this B&B to my friends.

    charming B&B

    This is a small B&B with 2 adjoining rooms, and 2 bathrooms. Good sized rooms, breakfast wonderful, had CNN and BBC! Slight problem finding it but owners will be changing website directions to help with this. Close to main part of A-dam, Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum, etc. I will definitely stay here again!
