Jardin Dreams Amsterdam

4 of us enjoyed a few days in Amsterdam before the Christmas period, spent hours looking online for the right flat as we tend to use apartments. Eventually chose Lennart's flat and were not disappointed: spacious, modern, had everything we needed, good value for money, easy arrangements for key pick-up, really appreciated the BBC channels, having control over the heating was great as it was particularly cold. Quiet area but near restaurants, supermarkets, museums and the wonderful Albert Cruyp market. A good walk into centre past lovely shops but tram easily available. Came back to Essex fully refreshed. We stated in the apt. for almost a week (it was 3 adults and two young children). The place is great, two good size bedrooms, big kitchen and relatively small living room (but with a nice couch and Tv). The area is great, close (i.e. well within walking distance) to the trams going to the city center, close to a little square with restaurants, close to Albert Cruyt market and a supermarket, close to a park with a nice playground for the kids. Everything is pretty much there for you: laundry, kitchen utensils, even a baby crib, etc. very convenient for a family stay. The only negative I can think of is that it is up two flights of stairs, one of which is very tight/windie

Whenever we travel (all over the world), we rent an apartment to stay in rather than a hotel room as we like the feeling of having a home away from home. We have high expectations of the places we stay and the Jardin Dreams apartment has been among the most comfortable and well situated apartments. It is close to public transit, and there is a park, restaurants, and supermarket within easy walking distance. An additional bonus was the large outdoor market just a few blocks away! The contact with our host was excellent as he was quick to respond to any questions we had. All we can say is well done!

Despite the fact that it is member of bed and breakfast places to rent, the fridge was empty, and there was nothing for breakfast other than sugar and coffee. So ok its nice but..

I am very sorry to see your negative review, after having received so many positive reactions from other guests. The apartment does not include breakfast. This is always communicated by email before any booking. Coffee and tea are supplied for free, without limits. I am sorry that you somehow expected otherwise, and also that you did not let me know there was a problem. I would have gladly provided a solution. I do my uttermost best to provide the best experience. The apartment is cleaned very througly after every visit. Amsterdam tour guides are available for free, and I am always reachable by phone & email. In the direct neighbourhood there are many restaurants, for all budgets.

If you are looking for a nice, cozy apartment in Amsterdam this is the place you want. The apartment has two comfortable rooms and everything you need to feel at home while on holiday. Nice neighborhood, not far from city centre. Highly reccomended

I found Mr. Hiemstra's house by chance, while I was searching a place for our trip to Amsterdam. He was really kind to me from the first time we've talked. And by the time we arrived, the house was in perfect condition. You'll have whatever you need, don't worry about it. It is the same as it appears in here. He even has a lot of board games, play cards, poker chips.. You'll love it. And it also has a nearby supermarket. If I go there again, I'll stay in his house, no doubt.

Three of us stayed in this apartment for a week. Great, cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of places to visit or shop nearby and not too far from the center. Everything was clean upon our arrival and we did not have any problems. Thank you, Lennart.

We stayed at this apartment in September and it had everything we wanted including a quiet area with very good cafes and (very friendly) restaurants nearby. it had the conveniences that make life easier when travelling such as a washer and drier. Central Amsterdam can be reached easily using the nearby trams (#25 into the station and the Dam). The steps to the apartment can be difficult to negotiate with large luggage, but no more than many other places. To sum up - We loved it.

I've been many times in Amsterdam, tried many differents types of accomodation and now I have found the best.. lennart appartment's has everything you might expect, its spacious, well furnished, well exposed and located, the kitchen is fully equipped, the furniture in the living room and in the bedrooms are just perfect....seriously we had a great time and we'll be back for some more !!!!!

We were four students who spent a week living at this apartment, and had a very good experience; the apartment is in a great location, quiet but within walking distance of all of the sites in Amsterdam, and with very nice amenities (nice shower, comfy beds, very well-stocked kitchen, et cetera).

Great apartment, easy to find, quiet, safe residential area 2 minutes walk from tram stop, 1 minute walk to bar, food, coffee shop and 5 minutes walk to supermarket. Owner very helpful. Have been to Amsterdam several times usually stayed in a hostel, paid a little more for apartment but was well worth it, lots of space to relax in the evening, cook, watch tv etc. We had a double bedroom each, very clean. Tram to centre of city took about 15 mins, about 5 mins to Heineken Experience. Overall, would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this apartment and loved it. It was located in a quite neighborhood. We were close to restaurants and there was a grocery store nearby to stock up the kitchen. It was also very close to the trams and easy access to the rest of Amsterdam.Two couples can stay comfortable in the apartment.We really enjoyed opening the french doors to the balcony and eating in the dining area. We all agreed that we would stay here again if we find ourselves back in Amsterdam.Highly recommend this place. Our host made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived.He even checked on us later in the week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam.Jardin Dreams is an airy,fully equipped and very clean appartment.We both felt very relaxed there.It is situated in a very quiet part of Amsredam but within walking distance or a 15min tram ride to the centre.Plenty of bars,cafes and restaurants close by. We would definitely recommend this appartment.

This is a very nice apartment in a great area. High standard, and very clean and tidy. Nice and welcoming hosts. Short distance to the center of Amsterdam, and a very calm area. There are several charming cafes and restaurants nearby. And a bike shop where you can rent a bike for 10 € a day. We enjoyed our stay alot!

Lennart's apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Well located in the Pijp area, it is close to the Albert Cuyp market, Sarphati Park, tram lines, an Albert Hein (grocery), great shops, restaurants, cafes, and everything else you might be interested in when visiting this wonderful city is within a few blocks. The beds are incredibly comfortable and big. The entire apartment is well stocked and has everything you need to make your stay pleasant, whether it is for a couple of days or longer (we stayed nearly 2 weeks). This is a family neighborhood, removed from the touristy areas but not too far away. Lennart is helpful and very hospitable too. We will be back! Thank you Lennart!!
