    What a special place...and just an hour outside of Houston! If you like spending time outside, you will love this place. We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn't have asked for a better place to do so. It was very quiet, quaint, and peaceful. Just roaming around the ranch was wonderful but the highlights of our trip were dinner at Carol's restaurant, the morning horseback ride, and the unbelievable photo shoot with Skeeter. His photography is amazing and we came away from the weekend with some very endearing photos - make time to see his exhibit at Carol's restaurant. The staff was helpful and engaging and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed great conversation with both Carol and Skeeter. What a special group of people they are. We just can't wait to go back
