Our daughter was married Aug 2nd on the front lawn of this beautifully restored historic home. We rented the entire Inn for the wedding venue/weekend & it could not have been more perfect! The luxurious rooms, upscale bedding, not to mention Debbie's scrumptious gourmet food served on elegant, vintage china, made all of us feel so pampered. The perfectly manicured grounds, gorgeous landscaping & stunning flowers made a breathtaking setting for what was a remarkable wedding & weekend! BUT what was even more phenomenal & made a special wedding weekend unforgettable, were the Innkeepers, Sam & Debbie Stebbins. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention Ms. Betty, Debbie's mother, Laurie, their right hand lady & of course, Angel, Ms. Pearl & Oreo, the resident pets. What an amazing team!!!! Their attention to detail is impeccable & more gracious people you would be hard pressed to find anywhere! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for an unparalleled experience, Sam & Debbie! We would highly recommend this establishment for anything from a grand wedding to a relaxing weekend away. My family collectively agreed that a return visit is mandatory:) See you soon! Mary Ellen, Bob & the rest of the Elger/McCurry family.

This historical landmark retains so much of its authenticity and is beautifully nestled in the valley of Bald mountain. The service was superb and the food exquisite! The grounds are breath-taking, especially this fall. The place to visit if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. The Inn itself is so very comfortable and home-like, just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy!

This was our second stay at the Buck House Inn and I am already checking the calendar to see when we have another "do nothing" weekend coming up. I cannot say enough how much my husband and I love this place. It is peaceful, quiet, romantic, fun, friendly. and so very comfortable. Debbie and Sam take customer service to a whole new level. Don't ever change....we will continue to come, I just wish we could find a place just like this everywhere we travel....Bill and Patti Daniels August 4.2013

For 3 nights my wife and I stayed in the Dreamdale Room, which is well appointed with wonderful bedding/linens, gas-log fireplace, and a very large tub/shower in the bathroom. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning; we kept the bedroom windows open the entire time enjoying the babble of the creek. While all of the breakfasts served were top notch, our favorite was certainly Debbie's creme brulee french toast with bacon and fruit. Though certainly tucked away, once you get acquainted with the roads, surrounding towns do not seem too far out of reach. We cannot wait to return when we get another chance!

My husband and I just stayed at the Buck House for our anniversary and we LOVED it! The house is amazing, beautifully decorated, clean, and so inviting! Debbie has thought of everything in her attempt to make the inn relaxing and charming. The setting is absolutely peaceful and romantic--we could even hear the running creek outside our window. The food was amazing and Debbie was such a kind and thoughtful hostess. There were all kinds of special touches that we weren't even expecting to add to the total experience. If you are wondering if you should book a reservation here, the answer is yes!

I truly wouldn't change a thing at The Buck House... Beautiful location, constant sounds of the most wonderful creek, historic and beautifully restored house, luxurious beds and linens, to die for breakfasts and goodies, a warm, lovely innkeeper who anticipates your every need, the most amazing front porch I've ever had the pleasure of rocking on...need I go on? We came needing to unwind, and we truly left there refreshed! Cannot wait to go back...Thank you, Debbie and Sam!

This was my first visit to a B&B, and the bar has been set amazingly high. The house was grand and historic with beautiful furnishings. The setting was amazing, only 20 minutes from the interstate, but miles away from everything. As great as the property is, it is not the best thing about this special place. Debbie, the owner, made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. No detail was overlooked and she went above and beyond to make sure my family felt at home. We look forward to returning in the future.
