"It has a perfect location in the historic centre Ortigia, at the seaside. The building itself looks very old and charming from outside. It is tastefully and stylishly decorated inside with antique furniture, but at the same time very clean and modern (e.g. completely new bathroom). It has an incredibly good price-value rate... We were supposed to arrive there at 15:00, but we took an earlier bus and we were there already at 11:00. We thought that we just drop our backpacks and check in later, but the big surprise was that the owner Sebastiano and her wife were so flexible that they have prepared room and gave us within 30 minutes. In the meantime we have got a lot of useful info about Siracusa (where to go, what to do, etc.) We have booked a double room with shared bathroom. The next big surprise was that we have got a beautiful apartment (2 spacious rooms, small hall and private bathroom) for the same price with a breathtaking view to the harbour and the see! It was fantastic! Sebastiano has perfect sense for tourists and great humour! We had such a warm welcome than never before. He has time for the guests to tell where you can eat the best fish, pasta, etc. in the city, what you should not miss to see and where to go out at night. He knows everything perfectly and always has time to share some personal stories, as well, which really gives a good and sometimes funny insight into local life. If you want to have a unique and authentic experience in Siracusa, go there! "
