    Si avvicina a questo circa 1850 castello francese con mansarda si noterà un manifesto sulla parte anteriore dell'edificio con il nome di Charles Hertich e la data del 1850. Dr. Charles Hertich, uno dei medici a tempo pieno primi di Sainte Genevieve, acquistato questa proprietà nel 1850 per la somma di $ 1,800.00. A quel tempo, esisteva solo la parte settentrionale della struttura. La parte meridionale è stata completata in una data successiva. L'edificio servito come la casa di famiglia Hertich e come un ufficio per il medico. L'esterno dell'edificio appare come ha fatto nel 1850, ma l'interno è stato amorevolmente e totalmente rinnovato nel 1999. Come si aumenta la serratura del cancello in legno nell'angolo nord-est della proprietà, gli occhi sono attratti immediatamente la porta attraverso cui membri della Comunità Sainte Genevieve entrato per loro appuntamento con la dottoressa Hertich.     Enjoyed our stay

    This B&B is across the street from the Beauvais Inn St. Gemme and is owned by the same people. The Beauvais Inn had burned last February and they are still rebuilding. This was a nice B & B, but the outside could use a coat of paint and a few repairs. The innkeepers are very nice, but are not ones to spend much time with the patrons. We stayed in the Memories Suite which was a large 3-room suite with a king-size bed, 6’ double whirlpool tub, a fireplace, frig, microwave, coffee maker, and robes. They also included a “wind machine”, but with the ceiling fan and extra fan in the room, we did not need it to keep out any noise, such as trains. The sheets were polyester, which was unusual, but quite comfy. Janet served wine, cheese, and crackers at 5 pm, which was quite enjoyable. We also used the huge Jacuzzi, which was very relaxing. Breakfast was served in the room promptly at the time we requested, and it was excellent – juice, bacon, toast, warm poppy seed bread, cantaloupe, and a ham, spinach, and cheese quiche. We made our own coffee. We were not given a choice of where to eat breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to other travelers.

    My husband spoiled me for our anniversary and we enjoyed this B&B..TOP notch, from the service to the sinfully delicious food served in our room as well as the dining area! Ahhh, so relaxing and comfortable!

    My family has stayed in the Dr.'s house on two occasions during the holidays. Holiday decorations are great, atmosphere is great, rooms are cozy and lovely.

    Amore Notes è arredato con gusto in bianco gli accenti di pizzo, Bordeaux e oro. Il camino è ai piedi del re letto e la vasca idromassaggio doppia circolare ha un diametro di 6 piedi. Oltre 20 getti, cascata e aromaterapia aiuta a rendere questo più romantico e rilassante vasca idromassaggio mai fatto! La suite è decorata con strumenti musicali, spartiti musicali, vecchio 78 e radio d'epoca.
