PPI è nascosto in uno dei quartieri più antichi di Jackson e vicino al blues dal vivo la maggior parte delle notti. Si possa incontrare cantante Dorothy Moore, conosciuto per Misty Blue.     Delightful Hostess

    My husband and I so enjoyed our stay with Marcia! She is just a treasure of local history, the Blues and things to do & see in the Jackson area. We loved checking out all the antiques & blues memorabilia that were everywhere in the house. Marcia was so charming, entertaining and generous that we could have just hung around and talked with her for hours. She also provided us with a huge, delicious breakfast. We definitely would recommend staying at Poindexter Park Inn to get a taste of true southern hospitality! Thanks, Marcia!

    We strongly recommend Poindexter Park Inn Bed & Breakfast to anyone who visits Jackson. Owner Marcia Weaver gives an exclusive insight to black history and society, her advices about the black (local) music scene is beyond all criticism. The atmosphere at Poindexter Park Inn Bed & Breakfast is charming and highly personal. This is a definite stop next time we return.

    Fun place to stay. Convenient to downtown. I was there with my son, who will be attending MS school of law, looking for an apartment. The innkeeper, Marcia, was a wealth of knowledge. As a life long resident, she knows Jackson inside and out. I found the inn's history fascinating. The inn is full of Mississippi Blues collectibles. Sketchy neighborhood but I always felt safe and Marcia stated there had never been any problems with the neighborhood. Clean, Cozy and a good breakfast.

    If you want an authentic experience of Southern hospitality, Blues, and history, this is for you! Marcia is a Blues expert and is unsurpassed in her knowledge both personally, and historically of major musicians throughout the area. We were also gifted with breakfast with her each morning, getting to visit in a relaxed and easy way about the history of Jackson, the region, and the music. We received a surprise visit from Dorothy Moore, a delightful gentle woman, with a magical voice and a rich history herself. You just never know who you might get to hang out with when you come to Poindexter Park Inn! The home is a renovated 110 year old house, and each room is simple and homey. Coffee is dark and rich, just the way it ought to be, and there is fresh fruit adorned with lovely edible seasonal flowers. Cereal and a warmed breakfast bread round out the morning meal. Marcia knows her stuff, so if you want to bike ride the Trace, follow the Blues trail, or just meander around Jackson, she has the details to help you have a great time. Thank you Marcia....and Dorothy!

    Come un'ex città eletto ufficiale, vi posso dire gli ospiti molto su Jackson e centrale del Mississippi. Hanno ricercato blues patrimonio di Jackson e avere una mappa tour guidato auto disponibile mostrando molti siti. Io sono veramente un monumenti sia che si tratti di vecchi impianti di moda o record di blues. Godo di giardinaggio e la raccolta di "cose vecchie". Mi piace leggere, camminare, e fare puzzle! Mi piace la musica jazz e blues.
