Questo mattoni e legno casa unica si trova in una zona tranquilla a pochi minuti dalla città sulla strada statale 182 a est. La casa è costruita di legname da un secolare negozio di paese Tennessee di proprietà della famiglia della signora Backstrom. Il balcone nella grande sala a volta è una galleria di arte e scultura originale. Il proprietario è un noto pittore di vetrate e molte delle sue opere sono in mostra. Offerti sono tre grandi camere da letto al piano superiore. Una colazione paese è servita nella sala da pranzo o sala colazione.

BettyJo does not have a computer, although she does have wi fi. Contact her by phone. You'll be glad you did. Also, call to confirm with her a week or so ahead of your visit. 662-328-7213.

No need to say more. All the other reviewers have said it all. The place and BettyJo are fabulous BUT she doesn't do email. So, call the phone to make reservations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Backstrom's Country Bed & Breakfast. All was clean, pleasant and soothing. Mrs. Backstrom gets all highest marks for graciousness and hospitality!

My husband and I just returned from two weeks across country on our motorcycle. Hottest summer in recorded history....who knew? But our second stop was at Backstroms B&B. Betty Jo, my new best friend and Mississippi mother, welcomed us as if we were family. She hugged us both--and I would SO not have hugged us after that long hot ride! She invited us into her kitchen to "sit a spell" and chat over a tall glass of ice cold lemonade. It was like we had come home. Betty Jo then gave us the key to the front door of her home, told us about a great restaurant in town, and told us to relax and enjoy! After asking us "when WE would like to have breakfast" (instead of when she was serving it!), we enjoyed our evening and returned home to the porch lights left on and our cool clean room. After one of the most restful nights sleep I have ever enjoyed, we were greeted in the kitchen to the smell of biscuits and bacon and poached pears, fresh fruit, juice, eggs and grits. But better than the food was the sweet conversation after she blessed our meal. We were on our way shortly and she took lots of pictures of us and the bike, and then asked the Lord's blessing over us as we drove off. If I am in that quadrant of the US ever again--I will go hundreds of miles out of my way to see my Betty Jo again. She is a gift--do NOT miss the opportunity to stay at "home" with Betty Jo. Thank you, my friend!!
