    Immerso nella Comunità lato riva pittoresca di Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, il trust ha servito come una casa di famiglia per più di 150 anni di solo 2 famiglie. La casa aveva umili origini come una struttura di una stanza e nel corso degli anni si è evoluto in sua corrente architettura coloniale di revival. Entrando dall'ampia veranda, uno passi in un'epoca passata di lucente pavimenti in legno, eleganti lampadari e mobili antichi. La casa è stato recentemente restaurata e bagni moderni aggiunto in tutto. I bagni sono dotati di comfort e asciugamani assetati fuorimisura di marca Bed & Bath. Venite a godere della tranquillità pacifica di questo piccolo paese. Dopo un sonno di notte, giunto fino a una ricca prima colazione servita in porcellane finissime e argento dal vostro ospite Cajun Hilton Eymard. Allora sarà pronto a vivere le attività che della zona ha da offrire.

    Trust House Rocks!!

    We spent the night of June 1, 2012 at the Trust House. The house is enormous and each room's decor is an American history lesson. Hilton, an 87 year old man, is a wonderful host, a fabulous cook as well as historian. This unique experience should not be missed and repeated at every opportunity.

    I do agree that Hilton is a most gracious host and his colorful character and stories make for a pleasant innkeeper. In fariness, I must also say that the home was being updated because of Hurricane Katrina. The problem for my wife and I was that ... it was just a room in an old house, the freight trains blasted their horns at least 2x per night between midnight and dawn. The breakfast was the same both mornings and was nothing to impress .. you could easily duplicate it at home. Without Hilton to provide the "atmosphere" it was a boring place. The town itself can be attractive but you don't have to stay here to enjoy it. This is not a "come back" for us whatsoever. Sorry Hilton.

    Wonderful

    Granpere' treated my husband and me like his own children. He ran around the house in his sock feet attending to our every need. I had brought my mother along and he gave her his downstairs room when we arrived and she couldn't get up the stairs. He also recommended a beautiful place for our anniversary dinner and suggested we leave Mom with him and he would feed her and entertain her. What a lovely man, home and experience. His warm rum soaked bread pudding was to die for and he surprised us with it when we came back in after a rather late night. I love this place and plan to return often.

    Memorable Anniversary Trip

    My husband and I stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary - had a wonderful time. The gas lines in the area were down that morning, causing Hilton to go to great lengths to prepare a most fabulous breakfast for us despite the conditions. Hilton was very friendly and hospitable -- we loved hearing his stories and cannot wait to get back to visit.

    A Great Experience

    Hilton is the most charming, lovely man. He is just a wonderful host. The eccentricities of The Trust add to the charm. He is full of great stories. The food was delicious and you can sit in the kitchen and watch him cook and listen to stories. Just like being at my Granny's house.
