    Bed and breakfast di Evelo, noto anche come "the Bell House" dopo i proprietari originali, è stato progettato dall'architetto William Kenyon metà occidentale per Dr. John e Kate Bell nel 1897. La casa ha tre storie e ha uno degli migliori interni vittoriani conservati nel quartiere Lowry Hill East. L'intero piano principale è fatto in pesanti millwork rovere scuro, ancora nel suo stato originale. Gli splendidi oggetti in legno, angolo camino e arredi offrono agli ospiti una calda e confortevole salotto. Una sala piuttosto insolita è la sala da pranzo. Si tratta di una combinazione di una sala da pranzo formale e un giardino d'inverno con la camera di finestre sulla parete sud. Gli ospiti una colazione espansa di frutta fresca, prodotti da forno assortiti, yogurt o formaggi, caffè, tè e succhi di frutta. Il portico anteriore con il vimini fornisce una cornice perfetta per rilassarsi o godersi anche colazione. Le tre camere spaziose sono situate al terzo piano, una quarta camera al secondo piano, tutte arredata con mobili d'epoca. Alloggi sono stati modellati dopo la disposizione inglese bed and Breakfast, in quanto i due bagni sono condiviso (un bagno completo, mezza vasca). Gli ospiti hanno disponibile per l'uso di un piccolo frigorifero, macchina da caffè, telefono privato e una piccola televisione in ogni stanza. Sono inoltre disponibili numerose guide, mappe e riviste. Tutte le camere dispongono di letti e due camere hanno letto singolo aggiuntivo.     Do Not Go Anywhere Else

    My mother and I visited Evelo's while in town for a John O'Donohue workshop. The decor was wonderful, the place is located just steps away from a bus stop, the hosts were gracious and helpful, the lighting was gorgeous and the FOOD was just RIDICULOUSLY fantastic. Seriously, it was scrumptuous and delightfully different each morning we stayed. My mom and I STILL think about it at random times. I love B&Bs and I visit them as often as I can and I have NEVER come across one that fed their guests as well. You should visit them...and send me the leftovers.

    We have never stayed at a B&B. We are senior citizens and were treated royally by Barbara, substitute inn-keeper. The Evelo's were on vacation during our 4 night stay. Barbara's breakfast was delightful and healthy. Fresh fruit, juice, baked breads, etc. were prepared fresh each morning. Due to the fact that we are limited in our abilities to climb stairs, the third floor bedroom was inconvenient. The room was very pretty and the closet was a very generous size. It would have been perfect had it not been for the stairs. Folks that stayed there were very friendly. Barbara provided us with answers and directions to help us get around the city. If we were in better health, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

    Greatest Best B&B I have ever been.

    This B&B is probably the best I have been in the past years. Very welcoming and I was given a lot of information about Minneapolis so that I could tourist around. Very clean place. The house has a very fine and old finish. I was already impressed as I stepped in the first time. Breakfast was a feast day after day. I was very impressed by the freshness of the food and the different kind of dish I was offered. I will definitely come back again and tell all my friends about it. Thank you for the wonderful staying. Massimo.

    Lovely decor an unexpected treat

    The antique decor is certainly a delight to the eye. The reasonable rate compensates for the wait for the shared bathroom. Although the innkeeper strives to make wonderful pastries, fruit and yogurts; we do miss having a hot egg dish of some sort. It is too heavy on the breads and pastries. I would like the option of not having the breakfast at a lesser cost if possible

    What a great experience! The food the ambiance and a chance to meet fellow visitors from all over the country. As a former resident of Minneapolis, I enjoyed staying in one my favorite areas of the city. I shall return!

    We stayed at Evelo's last May 2008 in the room upstairs (on the left) and it was fantastic. Great view and closet space - very together B&b in a very good location. Best front porch, beautiful street. Highly recommended.

    Fabulous!

    We only had one night in Minneaopolis and Evelo's was the perfect place to stay! It was beautiful and very comfortable and breakfast was delicious! The owners David and Sheryl were very gracious and helpful in recommending a fantastic Italian restaurant near by. We will stay with them again if we are in Minneapolis!

    Great Location Comfortable Rooms Bathroom is a bit awkward as the ceiling is slanted at an angle so you have to crouch while showering.
