    Beautiful Stay

    My husband and I just got back from a wonderful 2 night stay at the Cotton Mansion, for our Honeymoon. We stayed in the carriage house in the Bella Flora room. Ken walked through our room with us explaining where the fridge, coffee, how the Jacuzzi tub worked as well as the shower. The bed was very comfortable, gas fire place was gorgeous. The room was clean, large, private and very cozy. They provided lavender candles, bath salts, shampoo, conditioner and even lotion. The Jacuzzi tub had an included heater that kept the water warm for as long as you wanted to enjoy it. The mansion was built early 1900's. They have kept/restored all original furniture, wood work and light fixtures. It is beautiful. Ken ran through the entire history of the house and Cotton family during breakfast at our request. They make AMAZING breakfasts. The first morning they made eggs Benedict with fresh fruit and an apple muffin. The second morning they served fresh pineapple with stuffed french toast. Very good! We plan to go back!

    Loved It!

    What a treat! I thought it would be a little stuffy for out Northwoods ways but it was very comfortable. Ken and Kim were full of information about the history of the mansion and Duluth and it was really fun to learn. The food was great! Not only did we enjoy a lovely breakfast but there was also wine with cheese and crackers and other snacks available between 4 and 6.

    First B&B Experience

    We stayed at the Cotton mansion recently and had a wonderful experience. We ended up getting there very very late and they were just as welcoming as if we had gotten there during check in hours. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. The building is gorgeous. One owner explained the history of the building which made the place even more interesting. The breakfasts were also top notch. I will be going back there again and again and would advise anyone thinking about a bed and breakfast to try this one.

    Perfect Get Away

    This place is in the perfect spot to get around Duluth. The Mansion is beautifully kept and perfect for a little getaway. We will be back again.

    Beautiful Stay

    The most AMAZING experience ever!

    My husband booked the Garden Room at the carriage house for our 3 year anniversary and when we got there I was just thrilled! The mansion is simply gorgeous! I felt like a princess staying there. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was divine! I will go back every year from now on...

    Celebrated our 23 wedding anniversary at the Cotton Mansion. What a beautiful setting. We stayed in the Bell Cotton Room. We truly enjoyed the rich history and beauty of the home. Ken and Kim were wonderful host and hostess. I would recommending staying at the Cotton Mansion. We will go back and stay in one of the other rooms. Each room seemed to have it's own flare. Food was awesome. Just blocks from downtown Duluth but quiet and lovely neighborhood.

    Cotton Mansion is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, and get aways!

    What a wonderful place to spend our 35th wedding anniversary! We have spent nights in many different bed and breakfasts and Cotton Mansion is by far one of the best. The Sunset Room was perfect for us and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub. The entire mansion was beautifully renovated and pleasant to relax in alone or with other guests. Breakfasts were delicious and different each morning; the stuffed French toast was especially fabulous and reason alone to return. The afternoon snacks were tasty and refreshing. The neighborhood was quiet but also convenient to other area attractions. We enjoyed the stories and hospitality of our hosts, Ken and Kimberly Aparicio. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

    Truly Romantic

    My sweetheart brought me here for a weekend of romance and relaxation in the Bell Cotton Suite. The room was more beautiful than I had imagined... and the mansion itself was just breathtaking! Great architecture and history. The food was delicious and the innkeepers were quite lovely but I didn't necessarily like having breakfast with another couple (maybe that's just me). I loved reading through the notebook in the room that had been written in by previous guests... such loving words about great times they'd had :) And after spending the weekend there, I could see why! Definitely recommend this place!
