"My sister and I stayed a single night in this lovely b-and-b in Saugerties. Justine and her daughter were delightful, and made us feel right at home. The bed was comfy, the room was well-decorated, and the bathroom was huge. Everything was spotless. David prepared an outstanding breakfast the next morning, which we enjoyed with another pair of sisters enjoying a weekend getaway. Outside is a very nice koi pond, a multi-level gym for the kids, and a peaceful view of the Catskills. One of the other guests had brought a small, well-behaved dog with them, which added to the homey atmosphere. Even with the dog and children staying in other rooms, we were able to enjoy a quiet and restful night in our room. We recommend the Smythes' home most highly. Our only disappointment is that we did not have more time to spend here. We will try to return some day. "
