    Seduto in cima a un poggio con vista sul lago di Dewey, un "Country Retreat" aspetta manor ospiti l'irlandese Hills of Southern Michigan. Questa casa all'italiana 1860 ha cinque camere con bagno privato e caminetti, uno con vasca idromassaggio, arredata con pezzi d'antiquariato e sfondi antiquati. Un grande ponte e vetro chiuso portico, con vista sul lago, offre un posto piacevole per gustare una prima colazione estate o semplicemente rilassarsi. Altre camere includono un salone con un pianoforte e un salotto con una finestra di baia con vista sul lago, ci sono diciotto ettari a vagare e un'area per picnic dalla riva del lago. Gli ospiti potranno gustare anche il paddleboat, canoa e falò di sera sul lago. La posizione centrale delle colline irlandese offre antiquing, primavera cinquantadue alimentato laghi, golf, pesca, pittoresche cittadine e molto altro ancora. Appassionati di auto sono a soli 3 km dalla Michigan Speedway. Se si arriva a godere il dolce suono di una notte d'estate o la tranquilla quiete del lago congelato, il soggiorno sarà indimenticabile.

    Enjoy a Mini Vacation in MI Irish Hills

    Thursday (February 14, 2013) afternoon through Sunday (February 17, 2013) morning we stayed at Dewey Lake Manor (http://www.deweylakemanor.com) Bed and Breakfast (BnB). We had a beautiful room in a beautiful building on a beautiful site overlooking Dewey Lake. We had tasty breakfasts with excellent conversations with fellow guests and with Barb and Joe Phillips, the owners.

    First Impressions!!!!

    This was our first experience with a B&B and we could not have chosen a more perfect way for celebrating our anniversary. Upon our arrival, Barb greeted us at the door and showed us to our room where we were welcomed by warm gas fire place and a congratulatory rose in a vase. Barb and Joe also provided us with a complimentary bottle of chilled wine. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous and cinnamon bread and butter have now become a staple in our home. Can't wait to come back.

    Pleasant and peaceful with lovely hosts

    We spent a very relaxing several days over the holidays. A step back in time with a very historical home made very quaint and comfortable. Joe and Barb are very gracious, informative and helpful. We look forward to our next visit. Kirk and Connie .

    Wonderful food, the decorations make the entire house lively. Great conversation during breakfast, I recommend for everyone who wants a getaway that is not like the norm.

    Joe è un pensionato elettricista, ha un grande interesse per auto d'epoca e corse NASCAR. Egli gode di cani, soprattutto Black Labs e rende una cialda davvero "media". Barb è un infermiere, che ama le vecchie case, oggetti d'antiquariato e ha una grande passione per fienili. Ama da giardino e vorrei davvero ottenere il suo certificato master giardinieri.

    As you search the numerous choices of places to stay, stay focused on the reason for choosing a B & B – to experience and truly relax in a different time and place away from your daily life. If you are seeking a prominent, magical vacation-home setting that is an architectural gem steeped in history and lovingly cared for by charming innkeepers, Brb and Joe, Dewey Manor needs to be your destination. Located within an area that is described as a wine-lover’s paradise, this B & B congers up feelings of “Somewhere In Time”, “The Secret Garden”, or “On Golden Pond”. Turn off the smart phone, put away the ipad and leave the laptop notebook at home in order to really slow down your mind and enhance your senses. The simple pleasures of life reign supreme at Dewey Lake Manor, such as a casual stroll, a paddle on the lake, getting absorbed into a book, or enjoying a scrumptious country breakfast each morning. Our stay at Dewey Lake Manor was a memorable experience as we celebrated a birthday and our 18th wedding anniversary. This is a place where you can dream without boundaries and feel the freedom that you had once felt when you were a child. As a couple that has traveled extensively and has stayed at numerous Michigan B & B’s, our heartfelt recommendation is for you to end your search and make a reservation to slow down at Dewey Lake, create lasting memories and enhance your life.

    Second Stay

    This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this charming location. Barb and Joe are great hosts. My mother is 92 and they are patient and kind. We feel welcome and comfortable here.

    Great hopitality and peaceful setting

    Our first time vist for our 1st wedding anniversary and the hospitality exceeded my expectations. The home feeling that Barb and Joe gave was well appreciated. Thank you so much for the rose and complimentary wine, we thoroughly enjoyed and we already want to plan a return visit. Very peaceful setting on the lakefront. Thank you so much and will recommend your place any chance we get.

    A night at the manor.

    The wife and I stayed at Dewey's for the night,just to get away for the weekend, also celebrated are 36the Weeding Anniversary. The host remembered this and gave the wife a rose what a nice thing for her to do.The service was fantastic, they made you feel like you were right at home.We like it so much that we booked again in a couple week.If you want to just have a romantic get away Dewey's is the place to go.
